Unrooted HCV Cladograms From Previous Studies.
Panel A shows the first cladogram to divide HCV into six genotypes, based on a neighbor-joining analysis of the NS5 region of HCV that included 76 sequences (Simmonds et al. 1993). Panel B shows a more recent HCV consensus tree with a different genotype branching pattern compared to Panel A, based on an analysis of 27 full-length HCV genomic sequences (Salemi et al. 2002). The table below each panel indicates the genotype distribution of the sequences analyzed in these studies.

This very ruined and ivy-clad thirteenth century Galbally Church is situated on high ground overlooking the modern village and the river Aherlow. It is a Protestant church after the Reformation in the 16th century.It consists of a long narrow single aisled building of rubble sandstone with sandstone jambs. The east gable is 6-7m high, the north and south walls are 3-4m high and 2m of the west gable remains to a height of 4m. Under the east window a trapezoidal shaped block of sandstone has been inserted which is decorated with a figure in high relief. The features are very worn but it appears to be seated and holding something on its knee. It has been described as a carved stone figure of a woman, which locals believe was a Sheela-na-Gig, or ancient fertility symbol. However, closer examination would suggest that it is likely to have been Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Also set into the wall under the east window is a very worn sandstone block decorated with what is possibly a head.
Built in 1921, this Classical Revival-style building was designed by Garber and Woodward to serve as the terminal for streetcars that ran from Northern Kentucky into Cincinnati, as well as the home of the Cincinnati Stock Exchange and Cincinnati Street Railway Company. The building’s exterior is rather typical of Classical Revival downtown buildings of the time, with a cornice featuring modillions, acroterions at the corners, buff brick cladding, stone trim, quoins, stone lintels, window frames, and trim, pediments, relief panels that look like balustrades, and corinthian pilasters at the top of the building. The building’s defining unique and notable feature, however, is a large archway at the center of the north facade on the first floor, with a coffered barrel vault roof, which runs through the center of the building’s first floor as a lobby and arcade lined with shops, with Art Deco Rookwood Tile at the entrance and a large arched transom over the doors. The building was utilized as a bus terminal after streetcar service ceased in Northern Kentucky in the early 1950s, with the buses and streetcars crossing ramps from the Roebling Bridge to the rear building in the Dixie Terminal complex, which were removed in 1998, and the rear building converted into offices. The building remained home to the Cincinnati Stock Exchange until it became an all-electronic exchange in 1976, and closed their physical trading floor, with the Cincinnati Stock Exchange becoming the National Stock Exchange and moving to Chicago in 1995. The building made an appearance in the 1988 film Rain Man. The building presently houses a variety of commercial office and retail tenants, primarily Great American Insurance.
