Our first bus was so late getting us to the Transit Center that we were going to have to wait for the next one. But I was hungry! — so I picked up some fast food at the burger place there. The onion rings were pretty good, the chili dog so-so. Anchorage, Alaska. 28 Nov 2005.
Pink's hot dogs at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. This place is a famous hot dog joint from Hollywood and this one at Cedar Point is like the only one this side of the Mississippi.
We went to see Wicked. It was really great. Beforehand, we ate at Kabuki, and passed this place walking to the Pantages.
This was actually taken more than a year ago at Pete's Tavern (down on King St., near the ballpark). It's one of the more epic chili dogs I've had (I mean, look at the size of that dog!), and since I'm starting a flickr set about hot dogs, I figured I'd include it.
What you're seeing here is an A+ chili dog. Terrific Chili, huge dog that's been grilled. Yummy bun and fresh chips. Shame they no longer serve this at Pete's tavern.
when we were in the airport in Hotlanta I had a Nathan's hotdog. It was good. then I bought a pack of them at the grocery store. Mine were better.

Lafayette Coney Island looks a little scrappier than American Coney Island however it is the busier of the two businesses.

These dogs featured Pearl Meat Packing All Beef Franks placed in Arnold Potato Buns and topped with Wendy’s Chili (sold in cans) with Cheddar Cheese and Diced Onions.
this chili-dog was made with a red chocolate rojo base chili with coffee and good spanish wine, lot's of cumin and chili powder, and a mixture of white onion, turkey, and white beans. this got laid on over a Vienna Beef Frank which was laid over a helping of corn, freshly cut off the cob, and then covered with chopped red onion, cilantro, queso fresco, a dollop of greek yogurt, and two pieces of avocado.
