Jolina pretty much only managed to eat half of this thing as it was huge. Looked really good, though.
The Berrien County Literacy Coaches threw a party for everyone in the county who works with Guided Reading to celebrate the best scores since the program began 7 years ago. We were served "World Famous Chili Dogs" from Thomasville, GA.
I was a bit taken aback when Mike ordered ten of these, for the four of us. "They're small," he said. They were good in that gnarly way that many greasy foods are, but if I'd eaten more than two I would have hurled.

Our charming neighborhood bar has been sold to the owners of the nearby Wonderland Ballroom. There's room in paradise for both establishments. Each have their merits: Wonderland has its chilidog and Dragon Stout, and Temperance has its garlic-fries and Overholt rye.
But would the kneejerk whiners shut-the-hell-up please... It could've been infinitely worse. See the shredded remnants of Chinatown or Silver Spring for examples. Temperance could just as easily have become a friggin' Starbucks. For my part, I reserve further comment until it reopens as the Looking Glass Lounge.
But, *snif*... I will miss the old gal...
Don't look at the grease smudge on the plate next to the bag of French Fries...I said, don't look at it...why are you looking at that smudge!
This is in Oceanside. It's a historic landmark (among other things). They make a serious chilidog here.
