For lunch, I had a PB&J, corn chips and a banana. I am five.

My wife's employer provided her supper this evening so I went the easy route. Stopped at Hardee's for an All Star Box that included a double cheeseburger, fries, a lone onion ring, a chili dog and a chocolate chip cookie.

Enough with the photographs

Some of my wife's family came to visit us from out of state. On Saturday we spent the afternoon at South of the Border. Near the end of our visit, we went to the top of the Sombrero Tower where this photo was captured.

One great thing about Turner Field is that it has a lot of opinions to eat. However I have been to numerous Braves games and had many other items, BBQ, Nachos, Hamburger, Chicken Fingers ect. Yet there is nothing like eating a hot dog at a Braves game! Just something about it goes so well with Brave's baseball!

We were more than excited to finally get a chance to try the famous Chili Dog, especially since Obama has been here too! Hehe...we got ourselves a seat at the counter and proceeded to chow down on Cheese Fries which was delish! Too bad we couldn't finish it.

I tried Bill Cosby’s Original Chili Half-Smoke for $5.20. It's their signature dish! "Experience the Chili Half-Smoke, originally made famous by Ben’s in 1958 and a favorite of Mr. Cosby’s since the early 60’s. We put this 1/4lb. half pork and beef smoked sausage on a warm steamed bun and top it with mustard, onions and our spicy homemade chili sauce."

Tis well worth every bite! =)

I was surprised to find this hot dog stand closed. Perhaps because it was a Sunday? 2680 S Shirlington Rd, Arlington, VA.

Day 78 of 365: a year in songs and photos

Song: Descendents, Wienerschnitzel

Taken at Wienerscnitzel on Broadway, Sacramento

Yes, I finally tried the famous Wienerschnitzel chili dog, along with chili cheese fries and a kraut dog.

They were smaller than I thought they would be, which is good, being that I ate both the dogs. While the taste was acceptable as far as hot dogs go - dare I say they were GOOD, maybe even DELICIOUS, my stomach was not very happy with me later on.

At least I can cross "eat chili dogs at wienerschnitzel" off my "things to do before I die" list. Maybe move it onto the the "things I do that will make me die" list.

Excuse me, do you sell hot dogs?

One darn big (half-pound!) "coney dog," the reputed inspiration for the North Country "michigan red hot." The both have a meat-chili based sauce, onions and mustard on a hot dog - the similarity ends there. Note: the utensils are a standard sized restaurant knife and fork. Seen (and eaten) at Da Dawg House, Cadillac, MI.
