For those of you who worry that I don't feed myself properly when I'm away, here is tonight offering. Home made chicken curry with rice and fresh coriander.
This may be at an airport but the taste was very good - better than most roti canai i had at other locations.

Instead of water I used some leftover prosecco to soak the figs. And then this liquid tasted so nice I used it in the next curry, a lamb curry.

Sunil did the cooking in camp most of the time. Why? First, he enjoyed cooking and, second, he was very good at it. In fact, 1980 was the summer that I, myself, learned to cook real Indian curry. And since that time, I've become quite popular amongst my friends and family members for my Indian cooking skills, which began with a simple chicken curry recipe that I jotted down in my field note book as I watched Sunil do his stuff in the summer of 1980.
Again I took rice and Bombay potatoes and a bit more of the lentils, because they were really good!
Additionally I chose some chicken curry and vegetable pakora.
