Still a little later, we were ready with the addition of garlic naan and these crisp lentil chips. I gratefully sucked down the lassi as they bagged it all up for me to take home. The verdict: delicious!

At the fifthteenth day in the first month of Chinese New Year marks the end of the New Year celebratory period. The day, which fell yesterday this year, is celebrated with a special dish in Java. It is rice cake soup with chicken curry, chayote squash curry, shrimp stew, braised egg, ground soybean, and prawn crackers.
Zoom in to fully appreciate the beauty of the food.
It is such a pleasure cooking in this apartment with my great collection of spices. This curry turned out magnificently with onions and mushrooms swimming along with the chicken pieces.

Delicious and nutritious chicken curry. It's homemade. Cooked with Indian spices and herbs, you can have this tasty curry with rice or flour bread.

My son & his family came round to my house yesterday evening and we had an Indian takeaway meal to celebrate my birthday. There was some of the chicken dish left over so I cooked some rice and had it for my lunch today.
INGREDIENTS:
1 box Tuna Helper® creamy pasta
1 3/4 cups hot water
2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups cut-up cooked chicken or turkey
1 to 2 teaspoons curry powder
Chopped peanuts, flaked coconut or raisins, if desired
DIRECTIONS:
1. In 10-inch skillet, stir together uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, hot water, milk, butter, chicken and curry powder. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
2. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken). Sprinkle with peanuts.
