Followed the reciepe book to the T and its a big hit. The only thing that we changed was replaced the duck by the chicken. So Varutha Tharavukari has become Varutha Kozhikuri.

This chicken turned up in my garden one day and bullied the pheasants for their food. Laid me 24 eggs in 2 weeks (shame I have an allergy to eggs! )Eventually I found her owner and returned her.

We have three chickens in the yard, but the third one was camera shy. The orange one is my favourite. They come to visit me while I have morning coffee on the back porch. Really cool birds.
