Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2014
This hen escapes the chicken enclosure every day, but doesn't go far. She may be resting the other leg or trying to conserve heat. I lured her back inside by opening the door and throwing some chicken scratch inside.

Some of these photos bring back fond memories of farm life. I loved growing up on a farm, but don't think I want all that work nowadays.

Chicken Rendang.. made and prepared by a family friend who gave us a small pot to enjoy her cooking. We opted to go with pasta including rice !
I made a slight variation on the Big Mac: I used ground chicken instead of beef. What makes this sandwich is the sauce, and with that you simply cannot go wrong.
Side note: this was a keto friendly version with a low carb bun, and no sugar ketchup in the sauce.
This is a bowl of chicken and rice soup with ginger. It is quite easy to make, see the recipe at cookingwithsteve.blog
Brahma chickens and a rooster at Black Creek Pioneer Village.
Getting a photograph of these girls and the head honcho should have been simple. They're chickens for goodness' sake, not exotic birds like eagles. With chickens one isn't in the wilderness stalking those exotic birds, however, chickens do NOT stay still at all nor do they put themselves in the way of any kind of decent composition while they're busy pecking and poking away at grains. So when these chickens paused in this particular three-point landing I was glad I'd been waiting long enough to get this.
My entire collection of photographs of Black Creek Pioneer Village are in a blog I created for the purpose.
We finally finished the macaroni salad.. there was a pickle, but I forgot to put that on the plate til later.
While shooting a Hunter Pace event today I found myself surrounded by a bunch of free range chickens. Barely made it out alive.
