That's right ladies and gentlemen, the show that makes Mondays worth living for is back! Chuck is back for it's third season, airing on a special date tonight for two hours starting at 9. I really can't express how much I love this show. Simply put, it's pure fun to watch. If you don't already watch Chuck, check it out!
It's been raining like cats and dogs here in Vancouver, so I figured I'd give a try at light painting (a fun indoor activity), starting with some simple text. Light painting is a lot of fun, and it's something I've always wanted to try.

Day 2/366
Today is the beginning of a new week, and a new outlook. I've made countless attempts in the past at trying to lose weight and eat healthier, but this time I can feel there's something different in my mindset and approach. For breakfast this morning, I had 2 eggs, and an apple.
Recently, my dad helped me move his old record player into my room, along with a bunch of records ranging from JFA to Michael Jackson, to Ted Nugent, to The Beastie Boys, to The Sex Pistols. I've also begun collecting some modern records, like The Rocket Summer's Calendar Days Limited Edition Gold, and Of Men And Angels.
There's just something about vinyl. The sound is different, but good all the same. I think I appreciate it because I've never been able to experience listening to records before a couple of days ago. Today's playlist includes The Rocket Summer and The Sex Pistols. And after that, I may watch Juno or Where The Wild Things Are. Its a simple day, yet still a blessing. Thanking God for breath in my lungs today.

This cheese ball is coated in chili powder - and a family tradition going back over 50 years!
Ingredients
1/2 lb. medium cheddar, grated
1 jar Kraft Old English cheese spread
1/8 lb blue cheese
3 oz cream cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
worchestershire to taste
chili powder
Directions
mix first seven ingredients (all but chili powder) together to blend
thoroughly.
roll into a tight ball; let stand refrigerated, at least one day.
before serving, bring to room temperature and roll in chili powder

Nothing better than a bowl of cheese balls and a cold mug of beer on National Cheese Ball Day.
Came across this interesting fellow last week on my four day visit to George Town Guyana. Although mostly intended for business, i managed to squeeze in some time to move around and get to know the place. The monkey is called the Weeping Capuchin or Wedged-Capped Capuchin, he escaped from his cage at the zoo, managed to convince some students into feeding him cheese balls and went right back into his cage.
No time for an elaborate photo today. Just photobooth on my MacBook. Aren't my blue teeth pretty? Man I'm a cheeseball.
I'm looking forward to my side of the fam coming down for a Thanksgiving weekend visit :-) I can't wait!

My sister-in-laws mother has always made her own bows for all of her presents. She buys the ribbon and makes various shapes and sizes. It is nice because we never throw the away, we reuse all of them on gifts we give to each other!!

The wedding was a late wedding ... 7:30 p.m. .... so just appetizers were set out for the guests. As you can see, veggies with fruit, cheeseball and crackers, with summer sausage and cheese slices, chips and salsa, makes quite a lot of food for your guests!
