I hit the local music store today, armed with a list of recommendations from my trusty and uber-hip monthly mag, Paste. I walked away with:
The Avett Brothers (I've read good things, but never actually listened to them);
M. Ward (I'm going to see him next month, so better brush up on his new material);
new Neko Case (I've said it before, I'll say it again -- she rocks);
Wild Light (Paste recommendation for those who love Arcade Fire and The Shins...which I do);
and The Fray (they are total commercial rock, but I can't help what I like).
I know I can download these CDs for a fraction of the cost, or even for free, but I love the feeling of the music in my hands and the look of the case in it's special place on the rack.
I'm playin Xbox, Nat it takin 4000 pictures of herself. This is one of the gems you get when that happens

This flip isn't quite as defined on the ends (fringe) as my fav's, but its nice. She's got the cheeseball beauty contest smile down perfectly.
We had to order this cheese after hearing all the good things about it.
Handmade and in small batches, one can feel the love put into making each of the cheeses.
We ordered The Elvis....a sampler of eight different flavors--Smoked Cheddar, Sriracha Cheddar, White Cheddar, Cheeseball, Gruyere, Brie, Lemon Citrus, and Pepperjack.
Each cheese tasted extremely close to the real thing...very very good, hands down.
We decided that a party was in order and invited some of our neighbors over for a treat.
Marrying each cheese with a wine was quite fun and delicious - and no one knew that it was vegan ...it is that good.
Check out Door86.
It is worth the wait as well as cents.
but no Munchos or cheese balls! whatever happened to them...?? Was going to get Burger Rings too... but this was enough...
For FGR: WHOAS! I love Cheetos ... closest things we have to Cheetos here in New Zealand...
TRF: I like the taste of Cheezels more, but based on shape and texture, I favour twisties or rashuns :)
sorry about the cheeseball title, but it's the first thing that hopped, i mean, popped, into my head...
They were on sale and grandparents can't resist.

one of the most exciting meals I've ever had. Authentic, wonderful Taiwanese breakfast. Wish I could've taken my mom
