I was TRYING to ride on the dirt - but I faltered and needed to be on the grass for a bit...
In April, Stefan and I took an all-day off-road motorcycle riding clinic by Adventure Brothers Shawn Thomas, Brand Ambassador at BMW, and Lance Thomas. The clinic was at Molten Falls Winery in Yacolt, Washington and was sponsored by BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon. Most of the motorcycles were BMWs, but there are were also two KLRs (one was mine), a KTM, two or three Suzukis, and, of course, Stefan's Honda Africa Twin.
I'm really glad to have taken the class, but I wish I had practiced standing and riding and taking tight turns MUCH more before the class. Even so, the class gave me tons to work on, and I've been standing while riding on gravel or dirt ever since - and going much faster on such than I used to (which is a good thing).
I've been posting lots of revisions of pieces on here. I hope you folks don't mind.
I'm cruising right along with colors on The Card Cheat pitch and I want to throw up the final version of Page 7, dialogue and all.

Tears are black and gold because it symbolizes good & bad. Good: can move on & realizes this is a bad relationship. Bad: Of course, leaves you heartbroken. Flower petals symbolize emotions that live through us but the blue keeps us constant. Tears help sprout the flower (person) and these things only help us to grow.
