This is a rebuild of a beloved Sims 1 lot, which was an attempt and recreating an apartment a favorite character from a favorite tv show lived in. It’s also an actual building in London. See the pics at the end of the album of all of these things.
It’s built for me, so it’s probably not going to appeal to everyone, but I may as well share it. No CC used, but many build cheats were utilized. Found at the Sims 4 Gallery under LadyEmperorSims. I placed it in the Get to Work shopping neighborhood to get a more urban feel and I love that I get a view of the “city” out the loft windows. I decorated the lofts for my Sims, not for the public. There are four 2-floor lofts decorated for four of my sims: A hippie-ish sort of guy, a player bachelor guy, an artist guy, and a girl nurse.
Fun photo shoot honoring my granny obsession. A favorite photo of one of my grandmothers (plus my grandpa), my big, ever-growing giant granny, one of my vintage pyrex bowls, a pile of baby granny squares, my "granny" glasses and all of it is sitting on a "cheater" quilt that my grandmother had quilted for me many, many moons ago (yes, the same granny in the photograph).

This feels like cheating but let me explain. I´m in the middle of breaking up with my boyfriend of seven years. I just received an offer for an apartment and will have to start arranging the moving of myself, my son, two cats and one big dog(who is quite challenging anyway). I´m totally broke and don´t have a car, or even drive. Oh well, we will get through this.
I feel broken and not up to taking pictures at all, but want to keep this 365-thing up. So I´m doing my best. That´s why today´s shot is another hoodie shot. Tomorrow is a new day.
Idea stolen from Liz.Tesco Value t shirt with prr skirt. I've used velour for these two,cos that's what I had.
The value t shirt does stretch with the weight of the skirt, and the join on the hips is a little bulky for my liking, but it was a cheap and cheerful way of using up stash and pleasing India at the same time!
Look at a photo, draw for a while take a peek at the drawing and then draw again with out looking, one more peek and then add details and shading. These are really hard to do--the not looking for most of the drawing feels really weird. I will say that these look a bit like the photos but I have a LONG way to go before I will feel comfortable with this kind of drawing!
March 21st.
Cheat. This was taken yesterday, at a friend's backyard. Yes, there's a wheat field at the end of his backyard. I was like "OMG, there's a wheat field within touching distance of your backyard!"
Here are the pics he took himself.
No pictures taken on the 21st.

Un zoom et quelques millions de pixels.... Trop facile de tricher au concours des repas de famille...
A zoom ans a few millions of pixels are a good way to cheat during the quizz of the family celebration.

One of the exercises in Carla Sonheim's book Drawing Lab for Mixed Media Artists involves doing blind contour drawings from photographs. But you get to cheat by peeking from time to time to see what the lines are doing! And then afterwards you can add cross-hatching. I cheated even further by doing my "blind" contours with a pencil first before going over them with a Pitt brush pen. Used some vintage photos from my collection.
