My two heroes: the Cheat, and Horatio Penguin. They're conspiring against me, perhaps, but that's alright, because they're still Heroes to me.
I'm evaluating si5s for writing ASL by taking notes for my beginners class in it. This is my one-page "cheat sheet". (The manual already had a similar cheat sheet for the hand shapes themselves.)
My office has what may be the nicest view of downtown Schenectady. (I lost count at 15 visible steeples) I work a 12-hour night shift, so I see lots of these, usually both sunrise and sunset. This is one of the few exposures that actually captures the color seen, and even then only faintly… I need to work on this. 5 or 10 shots on the D90 would probably set me right but that's cheating.

Week 20/52
So I cheated. I didn't have time for another picture this week, so here is one from a little while ago. I felt like an actual teenager this weekend. It was odd.
Week 20- I always check my emails/messages/whatever i'm sending someone multiple times and only seem to find spelling errors after I send it.
if you didn't feel like picking them yourself, you could grab apples from a crate. we were determined to hunt them down in the wild.
Caught in the Act! This kid got lit pretty good and then he goes and wipes it! Couldn't get it off his mask though. He actually played the rest of the game like this!
My cousin and I play Words with Friends everyday and I swear she cheats. I love her dearly but she has a tendency to be a little airheaded. For example, we live very close to a lake and we were at the beach on this lake very early in the spring and there was something in the almost melted snow and we have her on camera saying it was probably a seal.
A seal?
In a lake?
With no ocean access at all?
But I love her regardless. She's my favorite cousin. But I still think she cheats. The highlighted words are hers. This is also the same girl that came up with words like Tele-Pathetic which we still raz her about now.

the moors would be a perfect place for that

This car is part of a series of models painted red, known as Redbirds. The IRT Flushing Line (7 train) was the last to carry these cars in revenue generating service. This particular car is part of a mix-match set used for station garbage collection. Most of the so called Redbirds were scuttled in various bodies of water to serve as artificial reefs to promote marine life.
Ok, I'm cheating. I took this on the weekend and am submitting it for Mondays post. A lot of things went wrong on Monday preventing me from taking a photo and posting. Here is my whinge...
1. Air Con went off at work for 3 hours. It was 30 degrees C at my desk. So I went and ate icecream for lunch.
2. Had a bit of a tough afternoon at work. Will not go in to details
3. My drive home from work that takes 20 min on a good day, or 40 min in traffic - took 2 hours and 10 mins that night. Someone did sadly die in the tunnel I needed to use to get home, but it was very frustrating to spend so long in my car! I was running late for netball and then we lost the game. We didn't just loose - we got smashed.
So no photo from Monday.
Here is hoping my week improves! Or Friday comes round quickly.
