One of the key rules of race-walking is that at least one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times. There were monitors dotted around the track poised to show a yellow card to anyone who breached the rule; indeed warnings were given. But observing the rule isn't always easy, so it's not surprising that occasionally a walker will be spotted with both feet off the ground. It may just be bad luck that in three of my photos the winners of the men's and women's races are shown breaking the rule.

The Cheat is Sarah's new friend. She brought him around the house with her to hang out with us while we did various activities during her sleepover. She put some Australian aboriginal art stickers on The Cheat so that he would have tattoos like Aunt Chris. One of them was a lizard.

What a cheater! They got to drive in their truck so that this particularly well equipped fireman could get kick ass shots. His incredibly adorable child is inside, and was wearing a little fire hat. Awww.

After countless hours of research and I was set on being inspired by motorcycling and all the close calls I personally have had on my Honda Bobber by peoples lack of attention. I came across some pegs made by Chopper Dave that had a quote from Tim Conder that referenced his quote "Cheating Death is specifically what motorcycles are for." I believe that to apply to anything on two wheels so the Cheat Death graphic for print was born.
