As you can clearly see, I have an unholy obsession for F59s. In recent months, following the activation of all Siemens Chargers on the West Coast, the F59s have started to make random appearances on the Empire Builder, including this one, Surfliner F59PHi #463, which will trail second out on the #7 back to Seattle. In a few more years, this unit will become a permanent resident.

I've matched it up with my Osé Retina Lurex hose and my recently acquired gold platform stilleto pumps from fredericks.com.

I found this crab spider sitting in a thistle and waiting for prey. What me amazed is the fact that she tries to hold her legs in the same way as the thistle needles. Interesting form of mimicry isnt it? Not to forget the fact that she is a really masterful fakir. ;o)
Used photoshop to create this shot. I really wanted it to have more clubs in the shot considering the 7D is supposed to be able to fire 8 shots per second.
I guess I will try it again with higher ISO to try and increase the speed of the shutter.
I still like it though.
All the following photos i took , but altered in the digital darkroom, i feel bad about doing it, but digital makes it so easy to do. All where photographed while looking out a moving car window.
