This is my updated and IRL version of my Mega Charizard X moc. I'm sorry for the number of updated mocs instead of new ones, but I really wanted to share this with you guys. If anyone was wondering, I really like Charizard X's colors and are in general a lot easier to get compared to orange, which is why I made this specific version.
This updated version doesn't have a lot differences, but the main differences are the wings which are a lot smoother and detailed and are attached closer to the body. The arms were also changed drastically with a way smoother design which still allows for a lot of movement.

Got other stuff! Be posting a collection update soon!
Regarding the 3 Jigglypuff's I got... One is my little sisters, the other 2 are for my NIB and OoB collection.
SUPER PUMPED RIGHT NOW!
Charizard is my favorite of the three. His complicated head and wings made it a difficult and challenging build to pull off.
I also added some rockets on his back to give him that SWOOSH! feeling (However, I think he would fall apart instantly if I did that...)
The hardest bit about him was the photography, which is why he is slightly brighter than the rest (photoshop).
Finally got the original "Gameboy Dark Venasaur" I have the reprint just needed the original. I need a new Dark Charizard as well both of mine are in extremely horrible shape.

Unit MDN56 ver X. My own take on the a mechanized version of the dragonite from pokemon with charizard X colors. This time round i felt a base is necessary to bring out the dynamic posing this moc can do. By it self the moc is able to stand even without the stand :D Since this is my own moc i am taking my own liberties on it by taking aspects of both pokemon and fashioning it into something of my own ^^
I decided to try something new.... I basically decided to build him from blocks, and mold the wings, stomach, and head (only a bit though). You can also move the wings.
I like how he turned out, may change some details later....
As a special upload, celebrating 100 Subs on Youtube I did Charizard, my all time favorite Pokémon.
For the Flickr upload I put him on a realistic background to trick the untrained eyes, as my builds are digital.
Be sure to take 1:11min of your time to check the Youtube video if you liked this: youtu.be/OCBQZRWHDyE
So I was on a road trip back home from Denver and I stopped at a small GameStop on the road and I found this! I don't care much for Wii Fit Trainer so I might sell it or trade it for a Marth, Charizard, or Meta Knight.
*EDIT*- I've made a decision to keep it because it's really cool that I found a rare amiibo in stores!
I had a ton of fun making these figures! In honor of the new Super Smash Bros. Game on the horizon and one of my favorite characters being brought back, I have made the entire Pokémon Trainer character in Lego form!
•
Red: The only actual minifigure of the bunch, Red was painted up to look just like he does in game. All of the torso detail in present, along with his backpack, removable hat, and sculpted hair. He even has a Pokéball!
~
Squirtle: The smallest of the bunch, Squirtle has a Lego head for a body with a small sphere piece for his head. Somewhat difficult to paint since it was so small, but I think I pulled it off pretty well! He even has sculpted arms and legs and a sculpted shell as well!
~
Ivysaur: My personal favorite figure of the bunch, Ivysaur is fully brick-built, and the plant on his back has some Green Stuff used to make the leaves stick out just a tad bit more.
~
Charizard: The most complex figure in the group, I tried to go all out with Charizard, and I feel like I nailed it for the most part! I was able to provide articulation in the arms and legs and even have articulated wings! The head and tail are both sculpted, but the base used is entirely brick built, as I was attempting to keep all of these figures as fully Lego as I could.

Tell me what you think in the comments below! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

K, I finally remembered (thanks YoshiFan). So I may as well tell ya bout my Big House adventure!
What started out as a small trip turned into a family vacation, as pretty much everyone wanted to go... Including the grandparents. The more the merrier right?
The drive itself was about 5 hours? Not including pit stops for food and bathroom breaks of course, but that's generally how long. The hotel room(s) we got was/were on the 9th floor. With this amazing view. Makes everything look like ants :P Anyway, we get there about 8-9 PM, Thursday night. First thing you notice when you walk in is about 100 or so gamers like me are ether just walking around, checking in, lounging out, or chowing down on some grub. It actually took me a bit to comprehend the situation, but I was pretty thrilled after the initial shock. I mean, there were tons of them, gamers like me, all joined together to play the games we love. I remember thinking "WHERE HAVE I BEEN THIS WHOLE TIME?!?" XD
Friday rolls around and I'm ready for the big day... Finally ready to show the world my talent. I was in the first wave for the bracket! The first match was rolling around soon, and I was eager to get down there. We woke up fairly early that morning just so I could train and get the hang of the GameCube controller. As all wireless controllers (the ones I use all the time) were banned.
Heading down to the main area, we find out that everything is closed... bummer. Well, I didn't exactly expect anything to be... but hey! At least the pool is open, and it's pretty much right next to where I need to go when it's time! So we ended up deciding to get some pool time in before the big tourney. My siblings had a blast, I can tell you that much. I didn't actually get in the pool myself, but it was a bit too late when I decided it wouldn't hurt to.
10:00 am... I read those numbers from my phone and my stomach is feeling like a fluffy cake (don't, ask). 'That's when everything opens!' I thought to myself. I pretty much dragged along my dad because I was so excited!
(Just to clarify, the Smash 4 room is smaller than the Melee room. You could also stay there all night playing friendlies if you wanted to.)
Walking into the Smash 4 room was...interesting, to say the least. I didn't know what to think of it. Part of me was nervous about my first impression, another part was just thrilled to be there, and then another part was surprisingly calm. It was almost like I felt at home to an extent. Call me crazy, but it just felt natural to be there.
So I walk into the room, and I was pretty impressed with the setup. They had about 5-6 different stations that all came with about 8-10 TV's with Wii U's hooked up and everything. Oh yeah, there was gamers EVERWHERE. I was honestly surprised that there was this many in this room, about 200-300 first time around. That's cool. I'm ready to play some Smash though, details later I thought.
Now, I'm pretty newbie when it comes to tourney stuff. I didn't know a single thing, just an idea of what to do. I remember looking around and just waiting for a bit. All the stations and setups were full. After awhile, two guys got up and left. I took their spot, and started practicing on some CPU's. A little later after that, someone approaches... I challenger? SOME DARES TO CHALLENGE THE GREAT ME?!? BRING IT ON.
I then proceed to bring out my headband and go super sayain.
THE END.
...NO, no not really.
So the dude that walked up to me was a Charizard main. Cool guy, was super nice. The thing that stood out the most was his voice though, sounded kinda like Sid from Ice Age... Ether way, we play some matches and I won 4/6. Not bad for someone who just came in here without any idea how to use a GameCube controller properly.
Cue 11:00 am... It's finally time TO SHOW WHAT I'M MADE OF!!!!!
*fast forward 3 sets later*
I get eliminated early.
Ok, so I win the first set. Progress to the second set which is against a Falcon main vs my Link. I totally blow the first match by SD'ing. Won the second, and made a mistake in the third. Jumped too early and got gimped.
Third set rolls around. Roy main vs my ROB. Huge problem here, I have no idea how to fight Roy. I lose the first match, dominate in the second, and then get gimped both stocks in the 3rd...
So, there's my bracket experience in a nutshell. I dominated in most of the friendlies though. I ended up getting owned by a Fox main called Bloodcross. He's a cool guy, amazing tricks and all. I won a couple matches with my low tier characters, but he downloads pretty fast and caught on quickly to my tricks.
The Melee room was huge btw, easily 2x times the size of the Smash 4 one. Even more stations and a bigger stage. Also, there were lots of stands with merchandise that artist made. Pretty cool actually. From t-shirts to paintings, you had quite the variety.
So all in all, I had fun. Met some cool people and played till my heart's content. Got some cool merchandise too! Have to post a pic of that as well. And sorry for the short conclusion. Didn't want you to feel like you were reading a book :P
(P.S. I later found out there was over 2,000 gamers there)
So yeah... I know that I said I wouldn't make another one of these for a long time, but ya know, I ended up getting Wave 5 (and part of 6 for us americans) and thought that I may as well since you won't be seeing one of these for a whole 3 months (I think).
Speaking of Wave 5, I've customized Ganon and Palutena already. They were given some minor details and are hardly noticeable, so I haven't put up pics of them.
Anyway, I'll put the nicknames section here like normal...
LAST UPDATED: 7/28
NEW ARRIVALS: Wii Fit, Olimar,
//////////////////
Kirby - Kitby
The nickname originated from when I first got on flickr. Deku Scrubster pointed out that I misspelled Kirby's name, turns out, this is what happened.
Liked it ever since.
//////////////
Fox - Speedster
He's fast, what else can I say? I can hardly keep up with the dude. You could almost say he's fantastic.... (EH?!?!?)
/////////////////////
Mario - Madio
Still a pun off the original name.
///////////////////
Donkey Kong - Konkey Dong
My Sis mispronounced his name one day and it got the whole family a laughin'. I've loved the name ever since.
////////////////////
Pikachu - Spark
He has electricity. 'nuff said.
///////////////////
Link - SirCourage
Simple enough, I thought this gave him a more 'knightly' attitude.
///////////////////
Peach - Peech
Help me plz, I have no idea what to name her.
///////////////////
Zelda - WisdomWiz
Can you see the trend I have going here? It'll probably be Powerhouse with Ganondorf (spoiler alert).
////////////////////
Samus - Huntress
Since she's also a bounty hunter, I thought this suited her pretty well. Also a homage to the DC superhero of the same name.
/////////////////
Luigi - Weegee
Weeeeeeeeeeeeg.
/////////////////////
Yoshi - Demolisher
Nothing much here, just thought it sounded cool and ya know, made his appetite stick out more.
//////////////////////
Diddy Kong - TheMangler
Monkey Flip.
Bruh.
///////////////////////
Little Mac - MegatonMac
Sakurai himself did say that his smashes hit at "megaton" levels... That's pretty strong...
/////////////////////
Marth - Mars
Original translation of Marth's name into the short lived anime. Thought it sounded cool as well.
////////////////////
Captain Falcon - Turbo
In the F-Zero games, you go at mind bending speeds. I figured this well represented his franchise and Falcon's character really well.
///////////////////////
Pit - Captain OPG
Captain of Palutena's Guard.
Pretty much the long and short of the name given to him in the Punch Out! boxing stage.
I find it incredibly interesting how I managed to give Pit and Dark Pit different playstyles - Pit just so happens to be more defensive and ground based than his gloomy counterpart.
//////////////////////
Bowser - Bruzer
Pun off the original name as well as referencing his hard-hitting attacks.
///////////////////////////
Toon Link - LooneyLink
Toon Link's name in other languages.
////////////////////////
Lucario - Hound
Pretty much me thinking he looks a lot like a dog.
////////////////////
Rosalina - Star Queen
A better name I came up with. She spends most of her time in space, so why not?
(For those of you who don't know, her original name was Rosielina)
//////////////////
Sheik - Illusive
This nickname both sounds cool and has reminds me of how mysterious and quick she(?) is.
Probably one of my favorites.
///////////////////////////
Ike - Brawn
He's really strong.
'nuff said.
/////////////////////////
Sonic - The Blur
He's really fast.
'nuff said.
///////////////////////
Shulk - Swift
Thought this described his playstyle pretty well. I also think the name is cool in general.
//////////////////////////
King Dedede - MonarchDDD
Fun Fact: "monarch" is another word for "king".
Google told me so.
////////////////////////////
Mega Man - Android87
This both references his human looks and his date of birth in 1987.
FNaF anyone?
///////////////////////
Meta Knight - Hawk
What can I say? I trained him to stay in the air and swoop down when he needs to. Plus it sounds pretty intimidating!
//////////////////////
Gold Mario - Goldio
With great power comes great stupidity... A line that Gold Mario goes by. Unlike the rest of amiibo I own, Goldio is customized. It's to the point that his attack power and speed are insanely high.
However, with all the power and speed comes incredibly awkward A.I. and held back defensive capabilities. He's definitely a kick from normal Madio though.
///////////////////////////
Villager - Major Fear
The eyes... THE EYES!!!
//////////////////////////
Wario - Scoundrel
....
WAHAHAHHAHHAAHHAAA
//////////////////////////
Lucina - Lukina
Lucina's name in another language. Korean I believe.
/////////////////////////
Robin - Mr.Enchant
Minecraft reference... Plus it gave him a sense of maturity while also showing off the fact he has magic that grows more powerful.
///////////////////////////
Charizard - Heat Wave
One of my little bro's robot toys are named this. Personally, I think the name was pretty cool and thought "why not?"
//////////////////////////////
Ness - PsychicKid
I could really use some suggestions for this one. I couldn't think of anything else...
//////////////////////////////
Pac-Man - Gobbler
NOM-NO....uh I mean WAKKA-WAKKA-WAKKA-WAKKA
//////////////////////////////
Jigglypuff - Pigglywuff
What? I really like Jigglypuff's name. I didn't wanna change it all that much....
///////////////////////////
Ganondorf - Powerhouse
He shatters my shield instantly, how can I not give him this name?
///////////////////////////
Dark Pit - Dark Wings
I originally wanted to do something along the lines of "gloomy double" but I didn't have enough space, so he sounds like chicken wings instead :P
Dark Pit is more offensive and air based than normal Pit. It's pretty cool how he's usually the one to throw the first punch. I find it very entertaining when they fight just because even though they're fundamentally the same character, their playstyles are different enough to make every match interesting. I might have to upload a match sometime to show you what I mean.
///////////////////////////
Palutena - Lightning
Both because she is the Goddess of Light in the games and as homage to the Final Fantasy character.
//////////////////////////
Zero Suit Samus - Elastica
I heard she had enchanted DNA or something like that? Also a Brawl in The Family comic inspired me on this one. (If you don't know what 'BiTF' is, get out.)
//////////////////////////
Wii Fit Trainer - Miss Fit
Eh
/////////////////////////
Olimar - TBA
//////////////////////

P.S. All the amiibo are in order from which I acquired them.
Uh, toodles!
Something different this time. This is my lego Charizard moc from the original gen 1 Pokémon game/anime. Charizard has always been my favorite Pokémon from the first generation, but making him in lego was incredibly difficult. Fortunately, it all worked out at the end and I am pretty satisfied with the final design.
The build is as accurate to the anime/games as I could. This includes getting the right proportions, making him mostly orange, smooth and organic looking and adding a lot of articulation. This includes the head, wings, knees/feet, hips, neck, arms, claws and tail articulation (mostly using mixel ball-joints).
I think since I know have Shulk, it's a good time to show you all my collection, it has really expanded since the last collection photo so let's go down the names!
Going from left to right:
Samus: Darth Vadr
Kirby: Rick
Toon Link: Legolas
Bowser: Gamera
King Dedede: Mr. Coblpot
Sonic: Blonic (my own original character)
Mega Man: Proto Man
Captain Falcon: Cpt Amrica
Shulk: No name yet, please leave suggestions in the comments, and I want it to be a reference to something like all the other amiibos I have
Toad: DanyColins... Don't ask...
Yoshi: Littlefoot
Donkey Kong: Skips
The only one that I'm missing that I want it Marth, I probably try to get him when he is re-released. I'm also 100% going to pre-order Ness, Pac-Man, and Charizard once wave 4 pre-orders are up!

Man, I sure hope you guys can see them all well...
So this has been updated with Wave 4 and Villager! I've gotten them all over the course of May and I just now received the final half of Wave 4 through GameStop and Target.
I'll be posting nicknames only this time so I don't have to update everything as much. I kept forgetting to with the other post, so there won't be any reason to look back here often.
Without further adieu, here's the nicknames section!

Good to see you made it! You deserve a medal for reading through all that. Or perhaps you didn't and just scrolled to the bottom like any lazy person would...
Ether way, hope ya enjoyed!

Requested- a shot of one of each character from my collection, as close to in-scale as possible.
A few shrunken characters pose with King Dedede, R.O.B comes only in giant form. Wario, Jigglypuff and Peach are a bit too big, but everyone else looks great in my opinion.

While I was playing my tennis match, my dad went to Gamestop to pre-order me Ness, Pac-Man, and Charizard. But he said there was a huge line and when he went up to order them, but they were all sold out but Ness! So he just got Ness but that's ok with me! I really really REALLY hope my pre-order doesn't get canceled!!
Fire dragon Pokemon. His torso is structured around a seat piece and the orange stud gun is from an unlicensed plants vs zombies set.
Here is Noah with Charizard the dragon from the game Pokemon Go. With the game you have the option of using augmented reality. I just told Noah where the dragon was and he pointed at the imaginary creature. We had great fun with a variety of these photographs.
Made with a single square sheet of paper, no cuts.

Continuing with my Pokemon/Nintendo and Harry Potter Fanboy...isms I took a shot of all the pokemon games that Emma and I own in the order that I got them :)
1st: Pokemon Yellow - I got this with my first game boy from my mum and dad. It was the best present ever cuz everyone else my age had one and I could join in :) - best parents ever.
I didn't get Red/Blue for AGES after that. Cuz as you know when you get to grade 8-end of highschool pokemon is no longer "cool" and you are outcasted if you like or play them. so Red and Blue came in my second year of college :) - I got them for $10 for both
I beat them and then got Leaf Green to play before Diamond came out. Emma then got FireRed to play with me. Then I got Sapphire to go along with it.
Then Emma and I got Diamond (me) and Pearl (her) and then the next year got Platinum
And then this Year we got Heart Gold (Emma) and Soul Silver (me) which came with the PokeWalker :) - I'd have shot Emma's PW too with this, but she took hers to work :)
So this collection was 12 years in the making, but it's pretty nice. I have caught all of the pokemon that are available. :) - Proud of that to be honest, because by the time Diamond came around there were 493 or something.... so it wasn't easy!
Emma and I are (im)patiently awaiting PKmn Black and White Spring next year :)
My Pokemon team in EVERY Pkmn game is:
Pikachu
Butterfree
Pidgeotto
Bulbasaur
Charizard
Squirtle
