Hey all, haven't posted in a while. Here's Squirtle I made for a friend of mine. Spent the past few months learning how to work all the colors into a consistent style. Did that by building ALL the eeveelutions! Get ready to be bombarded with Lego pokemon!
Charizard is my favorite of the three. His complicated head and wings made it a difficult and challenging build to pull off.
I also added some rockets on his back to give him that SWOOSH! feeling (However, I think he would fall apart instantly if I did that...)
The hardest bit about him was the photography, which is why he is slightly brighter than the rest (photoshop).

Or at least a few of them......
Brickcon this year was fantastic (Despite the fire alarm scare....) and I got to hang out with a ton of awesome people! It was hectic as always and it sucks that I had to leave early on sunday, but I'm glad I went. I've tagged a few of people I met and/or talked to, but if you aren't on the list (And I met you), feel free to tag yourself. ;)
Now about these Pokemon.
I made them for a Pokemon collab build that I headed at Brickcon this year.
I'm hoping to make it a re-ocurring theme, so if you didn't contribute this time you'll have another chance next year.
Enjoy!

This isn't my typical share, but... at the Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo I had a Charizard latte and I never shared it with the world! Time to remedy that. (plenty more from the Pokemon Center in our Tokyo video, here: youtu.be/O6BhYyTOX28
This is my custom minifigure concept of the famous Pokémon trainer and now finally the winner of the Pokémon league, Ash Ketchum. Seeing as Ash after 22 years finally won his first Pokémon league I thought it would be a nice tribute to the character and the series to make a custom minifigure only using existing lego pieces.
This minifigure was very hard to design, but the design really came together ones I settled on the head design, the medium legs and the torso with the white sleeved arms. I can't wait to make this minifigure someday alongside my Charizard moc.
If anyone is interested in making this figure for themselves, here is a list of the pieces needed:
- Bright Light Blue medium legs (37364)
- Blue winter sports jacket (88585)
- Light Flesh arms with White Sleeves Pattern (16360)
- Green hands (3820)
- Lime Green Backpack (12897)
- Light Flesh (lego Batman movie) Robin head (29385)
- Red baseball player cap (93361)
This is another commission for Artifex Creation. It is the main enemy in Lego's Ninjago cartoon (as far as I know). And it's another wyvern.
This uses my Charizard's structure as a base but it's changed to be more flexible. Also I believe the feet are a completely new way to make simple and accurate dino feet.

This is my lego Mega evolved version of my Charizard known as Mega Charizard X. Seeing as there a lot more black pieces then there are orange pieces makes this build look even more like it's original anime/game version. Fortunately, the build still retains all of its articulation points.
Also, the overall design has been changed a lot since yesterday's version. Because of this, I have updated my Charizard to go along with this updated design which makes it look way better and accurate.
Built for Innovalug's Style it Up contest. Week 2 was to create a build that was perfectly symmetrical.
I had a lot of different ideas, but kept coming back to the Pokemon one. I was originally going to build Charmeleon because I didn't want to tackle the wings. But after I built him I realized it looked too tall! So I decided he needed to evolve into his final form, Charizard, for this challenge. I would have changed the color scheme to orange, but didn't have the necessary parts in that color.
Something different this time. This is my lego Charizard moc from the original gen 1 Pokémon game/anime. Charizard has always been my favorite Pokémon from the first generation, but making him in lego was incredibly difficult. Fortunately, it all worked out at the end and I am pretty satisfied with the final design.
The build is as accurate to the anime/games as I could. This includes getting the right proportions, making him mostly orange, smooth and organic looking and adding a lot of articulation. This includes the head, wings, knees/feet, hips, neck, arms, claws and tail articulation (mostly using mixel ball-joints).
Charizard is my favorite of the three. His complicated head and wings made it a difficult and challenging build to pull off.
I also added some rockets on his back to give him that SWOOSH! feeling (However, I think he would fall apart instantly if I did that...)

Man this large boi has been in a WIP stage forever. Ever since brickfair of last year did I have a base for him but after a year of procrastinating I overhauled most of that base and wanted to get him done before brickfair of this year.
So Charizard a pretty cool pocket man, he's in smash bros, he's a dragon (but not a dragon type), and he has wings and I like characters with wings for some reason.
This base for this guy was completely out of scratch, all procreate with tons of cutting, sanding, and sculpting onto over and over and over and over again.
I used lego rod pieces, like what lego uses for staffs and sticks and put them outside the joints for the arms, legs, neck, and tail.
I also sculpted around cheese slope pieces for his feet so he can stand on lego and uses lego pieces so if you're saying it's not lego you are confirmed not heterosexual.
Gotta thank Andy for the idea of making the wings articulate in every direction. I never knew hands could grab onto the tips of antennas. I cut some hand pieces and glued them into the wings. The wings were made with cut funko box plastic with procreate sculpted around the sides.
The fire on his tail was made with hot glue and transparent red paint with some highlights painted in. The tail can actually go on both sides and I can take the fire piece off and position it.
My favorite part is the jaw, which uses small magnets in order to move up and down.
The Ash minifigure was commisioned by Muthady Zaman
I might post how the articulation works on my instagram so go check that out, I also will have clearer pictures there.
What do you think!?
Unit MDN56 ver X. My own take on the a mechanized version of the dragonite from pokemon with charizard X colors. This time round i felt a base is necessary to bring out the dynamic posing this moc can do. By it self the moc is able to stand even without the stand :D Since this is my own moc i am taking my own liberties on it by taking aspects of both pokemon and fashioning it into something of my own ^^

This is my updated and IRL version of my Mega Charizard X moc. I'm sorry for the number of updated mocs instead of new ones, but I really wanted to share this with you guys. If anyone was wondering, I really like Charizard X's colors and are in general a lot easier to get compared to orange, which is why I made this specific version.
This updated version doesn't have a lot differences, but the main differences are the wings which are a lot smoother and detailed and are attached closer to the body. The arms were also changed drastically with a way smoother design which still allows for a lot of movement.
Also, for this image specifically, I wanted to show my now complete custom minifigure of Ash Ketchum which I also posted a while ago. I think they look great together.
Something I ended up getting for Christmas. I literally just put it up, with the help of my dad's carpeting skills of course.

Jeez that's alot isn't it? The reason why I listed them off is because of the lightning. I had to turn off my lights when getting this pic because you couldn't see the top shelves very well, so yeah. That's that.
