No Single Country Can Forecast Climate Change Alone
Patricia Grogg interviews ABEL CENTELLA of the Cuban Meteorological Institute
HAVANA, May 21 (IPS) – Cuban climate change scientists have been sharing their research findings and experience over the past few years with the rest of the Caribbean islands, using PRECIS, a regional climate modelling system, to help design adaptation policies.
The mounted Regiments change The Queen’s Life Guard at the entrance to Horse Guards, daily at 11.00am (10.00am on Sundays only). There are two types of Queen’s Life Guard. A Long Guard consisting of 17 men is mounted when The Queen is resident in London, otherwise a Short Guard made up of 12 men is mounted.
500+ people joined in Gothenburg despite the rain, and sang "more love,
less hatred, we want a good climate" the day before our national elections.

EX-CHANGE addresses three imminent challenges facing society: climate change, artificial intelligence, and social justice. These themes organize the work, along with the experiments inspired by a spirit of formal and technological innovation at the school.

Well the american people wanted change, I hope the new president elect will give the people what he promised. I was glad to here that alot of new people voted for the first time, I just hope they voted for all the right reason's. Well lets hope the gas price's keep going down........... On Friday 23rd, St. Julian's School Eco-Council (@ Carcavelos, Portugal)
held a whistle-blowing, poster-waving, chant-shouting march through school
campus to raise awareness about Moving Planet Day. Students from all years
joined us as we marched for a more sustainable world. The lesson learned we
will never forget: Reduce CO2 or Destruction will Ensue!

today was a very sad and, at the same time, exciting day. it was my last day (at least full time) with plexus. i start a new position in atlanta on monday. this will bring a lot of changes in the coming months. i was very sad to leave my co-workers who have become friends (and family) over the past few years.
this was the going away cake they got me today. it's in the shape of the hurricane. "shawnami" is a nickname that started around the time of our trip to jamaica. they claimed that my voice low voice caused the tsunami in southern asia. "blew us off the internet" is a phrase we use a lot making fun of a past client.

There were 10 of us who signed into the Congressman's office (Adam Smith). We also delivered about 20 letters opposing Fast Track that Karen Moskowitz and I (350 Seattle members) had collected on Saturday at the Folk Life Festival.
