The change in the weather and the permanence of stone and metal. The cupola and slate roof tiles caught my eye on this building that is part of St Peter's Episcopal Church in Morristown. The morning started out bright and sunny and the skies were changing as the day went on as clouds moved in.

Species are dying off faster than nature can even create them, and it's entirely the fault of humans living an overdeveloped unsustainable lifestyle. I haven't uploaded any pictures for a few days because life did one of those unexpected things it does sometimes. My friend Tracy died. She was 44 and had been battling breast cancer. I was convinced she'd win the fight and am still shocked that she's gone.
Today's pictures are dedicated to her.
This image seemed quite fitting - nature reminding us that things change.
Much better viewed large if you have time, or View On Black
