Known throughout the world, Étretat is undoubtedly the pride of the Normandy coastline. With its narrow streets, its seafront, its small shops and its sunset on the incredible cliffs, Étretat proves to be a romantic little town.

Pardon the pun but needed a change of pace with my gallery. I know some peeps eat these guys, but I prefer fast food. And if you think because they are supposedly slow trying shooting one with a macro lens. Especially one with a big "S on it's shell ..... you should see the S-car-go.

We are finally starting to see some changes in the Ozarks as summer flows into fall... shorter days, a bit of crispness in the air, and a lot more color! Welcome, autumn!
The start of the weekend was subject of a significant change of the weather. Friday showed up with heavy rainfalls, today the temperature dropped to refreshing low twenties. The folks and the plants enjoyed both, not so the fish. Our afternoon fishing session ended with no score. Anyway, we had a great time at the lake with a couple of beers and a nice barbecue. Gross Aschen, Lower Saxony, Germany.

This African elephant was discovered in the Samburu region of Kenya. As you can see from the image its habitat is changing rapidly from an area that was once quite lush to an area that is now quickly becoming a desert as a result of a lengthy and ongoing drought. The climate crisis is happening now and is already having devastating impacts on the planet.

Ever changing light!
Mornings like this one justify why I sometimes just setup the tripod and stay rooted to the same spot for sometimes over an hour.
Watching the blue hour tones give way to yellows, oranges and reds until the sun rises and shows the natural greens of the countryside and blue from the clear sky!
The rolling mist just adds some lovely atmosphere and mood to the conditions around!
