Some fleeting wispy clouds and a rough sea signalling a southerly change at Tuross Head Beach on the South Coast of NSW.
Male Yellow Finch in process of changing to Spring/Summer colors. The chest and back will change to all bright yellow and the forehead will change to black.
View from the deck yesterday...awoke to the same today. Ground still too warm for it to stick. Not unusual at all to have October snow, but I become less enthused about it with each passing year.
As our season changes colours so did our political landscape with a majority Liberal win in our Government tonight. Wondering what lies ahead around the bend...

We are finally starting to see some changes in the Ozarks as summer flows into fall... shorter days, a bit of crispness in the air, and a lot more color! Welcome, autumn!
Tall grasses in the water starting to turn colour in a lake we stopped at, somewhere in the Okanagan. I didn't get the name of the lake :)

The start of the weekend was subject of a significant change of the weather. Friday showed up with heavy rainfalls, today the temperature dropped to refreshing low twenties. The folks and the plants enjoyed both, not so the fish. Our afternoon fishing session ended with no score. Anyway, we had a great time at the lake with a couple of beers and a nice barbecue. Gross Aschen, Lower Saxony, Germany.
