Wisconsin & Southern's Janesville bound freight, eases around the curve in Milton's yard limits on a beautiful autumn afternoon. This was the last time these trees were this vibrant with autumn's color and I'm hopeful one day they will be again, in this changing climate we live in.

Darss, Germany, 2019

From my point of view very characteristic scene of the baltic coastline in northern Germany. In that area, the sea is literally eating its way into the land. Some of that sand is then deposited at the northern tip of the Darss Pensinsula. Beautiful place in a constant change.

Being able to walk the shoreline nearly every day provides an enlightening perspective on natural cycles of change.

I don't think it's good for our mental health to grow up in a world of static flat rectangles. It disconnects us from the spirit of the universe.

Shift Change- *I created this picture at least a week ago and to be honest I have been in a weird mental space (with the rest of the world* I was inspired to create this picture buy something my sister (@CurlesueCards) was doing and this image fought me most of the way. I really struggled with what I wanted to convey. I just really want to show my appreciation for first responders and let them know that I cannot imagine what they are going through right now but I appreciate their strength to keep on showing up everyday and helping us.

This year the Famous Flickr Five+ Group have decided to change their monthly challenge from "Five On The Fifth" to “Freestyle on the Fifth”.

I am excited that Spring is coming next month. But I kind of miss the winter snow we never had here in NYC. So I had to dig into my archive. Have a nice day everyone. :) Thank you for visiting

Sunk deep in the night

I sink in the night

Standing alone

Underneath the sky

I feel the chill of ice

On my face

I watch the hours go by

The hours go by

You sleep

Sleep in a safe bed

Curled and protected

Protected from sight

Under a safe roof

Deep in your house

Unaware of the changes at night

At night

I hear the darkness breathe

I sense the quiet and despair

Listen to the silence at night

Someone has to be there

Someone has to be there

Someone must be there

These new beauties seem to change as they mature. It's not a getting old kind of change, but still healthy flower petals getting edges! Pretty!

We found a cute little cafe for our cup of tea, called Changing Perceptions. Some info below, for those who are interested!

Changing Perceptions has quickly evolved from Godalming’s best kept secret to a popular and bustling Café and home interior shop. Located at the very top of the High Street this unique and vibrant social enterprise is just a stone’s throw away from the Meath. Meath clients are supported to up-cycle donated furniture in the on-site workshop which is then put on sale in the shop, with all profit going straight back to the charity. It is a very important part of the Meath’s philosophy to help dispel the stigma associated with epilepsy and to assist all of our clients to live alongside people from all walks of life, sharing similar experiences and hopes and dreams for the future.

This is my last photo from this trip, but don't worry, I have another couple of day trips to share!!

The main purpose of this photograph is the expression of change in colors, mood and landscape. Focus is not the perfection of overlay of two photos including shadows,... Both were taken in 4 months difference at about the same handheld position.

Changing colors were just starting on this rural Wisconsin road. I'll have to return in a couple of weeks.

Change. Mostly we like things the way they are. When change is mentioned people can grit their teeth, have a drink, light up a cigarette or maybe even sigh. What’s wrong with the way things are, they ask. I was just getting use to the way its been, so why change now? Things are working well so why? If we considered the changes might improve our lives or at least a certain outcome might benefit more than just you. Counting on things remaining as they are can be of comfort. Knowing the familiar means you know what’s ahead on you. Change means adjustments and who wants to adjust to anything when you’re already comfortable and content. Intelligence is having the ability to adjust to change. To only way we can grow is if we change. Folks who may not enjoy change live by their favorite cliche “The more things change the more they stay the same.” Our World has changed abruptly lately and if we “Change” our ways it may just be for the better. We might not like being confined to our homes but “Life Has Changed.” If we do the right thing now, life will change again for the better....Please smile through this and make the Change. We’re all in this together. Again, thanks for viewing my work...Hey, Wash Your 🙏Hands...

So, sometimes your priorities change.

I headed out with Monique on Sunday to shoot canola, but the more I was immersed in it, the more interest I lost in it...

It felt either very cluttered or almost too overbearing.

However, the purple Patterson’s Curse was really grabbing my attention as we scouted around, and this hill on the right just stood out for me.

So, as Monique patiently waited for me, I patiently waited and waited for the light on this entire scene.

As the clouds moved quickly overhead, the glow and dappled light on the land

was a landscape photographers dream come through.

I must admit tho, the clouds in the original image were terrible, as this was shot around 3pm, and they just didn’t play ball for me re definition, so I have changed the sky here, to give me the image I wanted.

The sky was shot in Sydney a few years ago.

Hope you like ‘Everything Must Change’

Cheers, Mike

Popped into the Jackson Junge Gallery in Chicago recently, only to encounter a change of venue wedding. The young couple had been scheduled to have an outdoor wedding, but the weather had something to say about that. I did not notice the photo bombing until after I left. I think it actually adds to the photo. Take care everybody, B

Arlington National Cemetery, change of guard at tomb of unknown soldier, one of most solemn ceremony in US. The US President or senior ranking officer will attend this event on Memorial day and Veteran's day

Nights are colder now. Weather is changing fast. It´s lovely to watch the moves of nature.

If it was planned or not...it works for now and hopefully forever and ever.

If only human beings could be as perfect...
