This piece started my week long mini obsession with cutting leaves.

I dyed my hair brown today. Oh, and I think something else happened, too....

With fall in full swing, the leaves have changed from a vibrant green to a multitude of colors, with the bright golds showing the most as a Armour Yellow UP leads 212 north through the Jungle.

(Set 2) Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge, Polk County, Oregon

Looking down Pancras Road, with the mighty terminus on the right, Thursday 19th September 1985. I've cropped it square to eliminate a large empty area of pavement, but this is actually a 35mm shot. I can remember the cabinets of Harold Wilson or Edward Heath with some clarity, but the only member of Her Majesty's government I could name today (after a few moments' thought) is the Prime Minister. I've found that the mind acknowledges few developments or changes in the look of the world after the age of about twenty-five. More than thirty years later this scene still looks contemporary to me. If I got up now and walked into it there wouldn't be much of a "step back in time" experience. Most of what we invest with significance belongs to the first one-third of life. That Commer van looks a bit dated, but that's about it. Albeit that cigarette advertisements are now forbidden, the poster's punning slickness would not be out of place today.

Autumn Maple leaves changing colors.. Tonight we may get snow showers.. Autumn is my favorite season.. Hope there will be few warm days yet in October.. ; )

Have a great weekend everyone!

Another walk in Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. I wish I lived around here and could see the sea and sky every day as they change so much.

When the railway viaduct was built across the River Kent in 1856-57 it ceased onward shipping to Milnethorpe. Arnside became the unloading point, which transformed the sleepy fishing village into a bustling trade hub.

“Changing rooms” was created in April 2018 in Sorrento/Italy. Large parts of the town lie on a rocky terrace above steep cliffs. The terrace drops almost vertically into the sea, approx. 20-30 m. The changing rooms/cabins are part of a public seaside pool. I took the photos from the terrace looking almost vertically downwards. As the baths were still closed, I had the chance to take the picture without people in it.

Alright you've heard this on many occasions.

" If ya make plans, plan to change-em !"

Didn't make it to the temple this morning.

That "was" the plan.

New plan is I won't be there until Molly

Car will be used.

To many hurdles have been placed

in front of me presently.

Short time off.

The new round of service changes sees Diamond take on the 171/2 routes from Stagecoach and the first bus out was 40771 MX70AOB, which is seen in Droylsden as it makes its way to Newton Heath.

Like many, I am slow to change and but finally made the switch, (with some encouragement by Madi) still working on the shape details..also reorganizing inventory for LaraX LOL

H-NSINTW rolls west towards Sugar Grove, Illinois with BNSF 9401 in the lead. The trees adjacent to the tracks are turning from Green to brown, indicating that folders days are on the horizon.

“Whenever we think we know the future, even for a second, it changes. Sometimes the future changes quickly and completely. And we’re left only with the choice of what to do next. We can choose to be afraid of it, to stand there, trembling, not moving, assuming the worst that can happen. Or we step forward into the unknown and assume it will be brilliant.” ― Christina Yang (Grey’s Anatomy).

Happy Fence Friday everyone!

Isalo is one of Madagascar's most beautiful parks. It contains sculpted buttes, vertical rock walls and, best of all, deep canyon floors shot through with streams, lush vegetation and pools for swimming. All of this changes with the light, culminating in extraordinary sunsets beneath a big sky. Add all this to easy access off the RN7 and you understand why this is Madagascar’s most visited park.

At more than 800 sq km, it’s also a large park, so if you want to go off on your own there is plenty of room for exploration, with everything from two-hour to week-long hikes. There's also an excellent chance of spotting ring-tailed lemurs and Verreaux's sifaka around the Nemaza campsite.

aka Superman. The Cage B-ball Court. West 4th Street Park. New York City.

After I had photographed Superman (previous photo) we talked awhile and his demeanor changed. I raised my camera and created this unexpected portrait. Engaging strangers in conversation is not one of my strong points, but when it yields a result like this it encourages me to make the effort.

All change is a miracle to contemplate, but it is a miracle that is taking place every instant.

This sign amused me, since we were on our honeymoon - a time in life when there are truly changed priorities ahead.

Mike explained to me that the sign actually meant that one street was the "primary" street, but at the next intersection it would become secondary to the larger street.

I like my version better.

Made the top 31 for June 30, 2005.

I wanted to change Hair Fair in another evening look that hasn’t been worn by anyone in a while … and I actually found something that had NEVER been worn by anybody, even though I got it almost eight years ago! It is that ‘Firelights’ jumpsuit from 1969/70, but in the more dramatic (and groovier, IMO!) variation brocade. I also have had the more common version for about the same amount of time, but that has been on several Marlos, Staceys and such. I actually bought this one in a very inexpensive lot with some other Mod era clothes back then and was planning to use both variations of the jumpsuit on twin Staceys in a storyline of my ‘The Julia Chronicles’ which was a series I posted back in 2014 on Flickr and Facebook, but stopped continuing that series before I had a chance to use them. It has been packed away till now…. I actually prefer this with that ‘Blue Royalty fur jacket to the gown it originally comes with… much funkier!
