When they say its by the tracks, they mean it. How often do the trains go by? So often you won't even notice.
Ok, I've cheated as well, but I do plan on taking some more bubble pictures as soon as I purchase some (hoping my kids will indulge me with some play!). But like, Joey (babyroo7), I thought of this pic first thing! My eldest and 3 of his friends linked together 3 slip-n-slides, added dish soap and water, and proceeded to have a great time last June. Little boys in 18 yo bodies! I'm allowed to take photos during these kind of adventures! Yet another page to scrap!
Another layout for the challenge "Resolutions 2008" suggested by the Italian cultural association of which I'm member (website), this time it's quite a simple page...maybe because I start to see my goals clearly.
My entry for the PlushTeam's Call of Duty Plush Warfare challenge. This is the boob slingshot. While it is unlikely to do much damage (ow, a boob in my eye!) it is certain to be distracting.
The slingshot specs - repurposed wire is used for a sturdy armature, which is then wrapped in batting and finished off with soft, cuddly flannel that has been hand-stitched. Heavy duty waistband elastic is also encased in flannel, giving it an excellent sproing.
The boobs are fleece covered foam balls. I'd judge them to be somewhere between a B and C cup. There are 4 of them, or 2 pair. They are incredibly bouncy.
Am I this immature? Apparently.
Am I proud of myself? Not especially.
Did I have lots of awkward questions to answer from my kids, including requests to compare my own boobs to the fabricated ones? Big sigh.
Did I come dangerously close to having to explain the facts of life? Serves me right.

The newly amalgamated Royal Tank Regiment exercised Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks on Castlemartin Ranges for the first time since its reformation. .
The Challenge Stradale is a limited production track-day car based on the 360 Modena, inspired by the 360 Modena Challenge racing car so the focus was primarily on improving its track lapping performance by concentrating on handling, braking and weight reduction characteristics.
The Challenge Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds (three tenths faster than a Modena).
In total, the Challenge Stradale is up to 110 kg (243 lb) lighter than the standard Modena if all the lightweight options are specified such as deleted radio, lexan (plexiglass) door window and Alcantara fabric (instead of the leather option).
The engine and transmission weight was slimmed down 11 kg (24 lb) through the use of a smaller, lighter weight sports (yet still stainless steel) exhaust back box and valved exit pipes. The Challenge Stradale also got Brembo carbon ceramic brakes as standard (which later became standard fitment on the F430) which shaved 16 kg off the curb weight and improved handling by reducing unsprung weight and completely eliminating brake fade.

Fortunate enough to be an Air Force Firefighter at the stop-over base for shuttles when they used to come from Edwards. THis was the last stopover before Challengers Fateful Flight.
