Challenge #14 for the Diva's Challenge.
Use straight lines. This one wasn't as hard for me as I tend to use straight lines more than curvy. I did use a curvy string. I used an S and a cursive L for my string for straight lines. :)
Bought some Littlefee faces on Marktplaats to mod. I would love my Littlefee ante to also have a faceplate with half open eyes. The Juri faceplate and Luna sleeping faceplate are just for fun. Hoping to turn them into nice faces and maybe use on the Ante body sometimes...(or sell again, who knows?) I'm a bit nervous about opening up the eyes. Hope I don't ruin the faceplates because they were not for free ;-)

Do you know where you were, and what you were doing 30 years ago today @ 8:39 AM PST?
I remember, like it was yesterday exactly where I was, and what I was doing. I was a senior in high school and ironically I was in US History class watching the Challenger Space Shuttle launch live.
I think this stands out in the mind of everyone so vividly, because almost every school age student was watching the Challenger launch live. We watched the launch, because this was the first time that a civilian, a teacher (Christa McAuliffe) would be strapped to a rocket, and hurtled into space.
When the space shuttle disintegrated before our eyes, I think we all were in disbelief of what just happened. It was even more of a shock for our teachers. I am not sure they knew how to react after exposing all their students to an 80's version of a snuff film.
When all the dust settled, and all the investigating had been completed, and analyzed. It turns out the accident was caused by a faulty o-ring in the right or starboard side solid rocket booster.
For me, besides 9/11, the Challenger Space Shuttle disaster , is one of the most significant days in history, that I will never forget.

The New York State Department of Health is pleased to announce the five finalists for the Aging Innovation Challenge, a crowdsource competition developed in partnership with HeroX to generate innovative solutions to assist older adults and their caregivers in carrying out activities of daily living.
The Challenge was open to all undergraduate and graduate students attending a college or university in New York State. The finalists were narrowed down from a field of 24 semi-finalists, which were originally selected from 35 submissions.
Finalists made a 15-minute presentation demonstrating their prototype and how it will impact older adults and their caregivers. (Mike Wren/Department of Health)
