For Beyond Layers ... A quote challenge
Our assignment was to come up with a quote that we think went with this picture that Kim Klassen shot at Huntingon Beach. I chose two verses from JJ Heller's song "Your Hands".

Die AEC-Challenge wurde im Auftrag von MMevents für die Firma Fronius entwickelt. Die Aktivitäten wurden im Sinne einer Schnitzeljagd in Form eines Ars Electronica Wettkampfes auf zwei Sprachen durchgeführt. Der Wettkampf stärkte den Teamgeist der Teilnehmer, war wettbewerbsorientiert und der Spaßfaktor blieb natürlich auch nicht auf der Strecke.
Im Deep Space fand die Siegerehrung statt und die Mitarbeiter und Kunden von Fronius konnten eine 3D-Abfahrt in Kitzbühel und eine Reise durch das Weltall unternehmen.

The New York State Department of Health is pleased to announce the five finalists for the Aging Innovation Challenge, a crowdsource competition developed in partnership with HeroX to generate innovative solutions to assist older adults and their caregivers in carrying out activities of daily living.
The Challenge was open to all undergraduate and graduate students attending a college or university in New York State. The finalists were narrowed down from a field of 24 semi-finalists, which were originally selected from 35 submissions.

This week's challenge over at PaperPlay is "White +one" ~ My One is cream... so white and cream together. I started by stamping my Angel Tilda stamp onto white card and doing some paper piecing ( used a CB folder to give the dress some texture) and then coloured with Copics. Her wings are covered in Kindyglitz glitter glue. The white panel is also embossed with the Swiss Dot folder. I added the cream ribbon, flourish, tag and flowers. Used a Hero Arts sentiment on the tag. I made the flowers following this tutorial. I used the tiniest Dahlia Spellbinders die. Really tiny but they turned out lovely. this was really hard to photograph with all the white and cream

For October Scavenge Challenge #24 Photograph a personal adornment, i.e., a watch, bracelet, hair barrette (not clothing).
Looking down from the top of the west tower of the old Tacoma Narrwos Bridge to the birdge decks of both the old and new bridges. I understand that some people are not comfortable with hights--you may not what to look to closely if you are one of those people. Throwing up on the cars below is not acceptable!
