The juxtaposition of wood and metal. The functional elegance of hard chainlink. When horizontal pavement meets vertical brick. Urbanely simple.
My dog has sort of an anxiety disorder, and needs to have someone with her at all times. So, when we take her outside, we chain her up to one of those dog chains that screws into the ground, and just watch her frolic and play. This is a rusted bolt on the dog chain.
My second attempt at textures.

From HOBO’s car, an encounter! Chained, I dismounted. So slow! Make wheel when not peacock. World’s ride? For now, I run idle.

A gate!
Up at Donnington Castle, Donnington, Newbury Berkshire
The gate stops cars etc from getting up to the castle. I was awaiting my Girlfriends driving lesson to end and snapping away
This photo was taken using my Canon EOS 6D when I was bored and wondering around the house. I use this chain to secure a fence so that my German Shepherd won't be able to get up in my veranda. This photo is only one of the photos I took that day. When I was looking at the series of photos in my laptop, this photo caught my attention. I'm an overseas worker in one of the countries that's experiencing some instability right now (sorry I can't mention the name of the country). Though the country is already experiencing freedom from the old regime, just like me, the citizens of this country still feels like they're chained into their own cells because of the instability happening around them. Too afraid to go out because no one knows if you'll be able to go back home safely. "Freedom from the old regime but chained to the fear of loosing one's own life."
