A study in opposites - fuzzy, mint green microfiber "suede" twisting through shiny silver-plated chain. Simple, subtle, and surprisingly eye-catching.
The cord is woven through the chain and secured on both ends with glue and silver wire. The lobster claw clasp is silver-plated as well.
Measurements: 7.5 inches (19 cm) long; 6mm wide

The boys showing their football some time they play. They came with parents from another district of country. And they work and live in bank of Piyain River, Jaflong stone quarry, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The second part of my Swindon GWR visit was this amazingly intact chain testing workshop. This was a really unexpected find, we knew roughly what the building was used for but judging by its unassuming appearance from the outside didnt expect anything like this! Even on the inside the place is not much more than a builders yard untill you enter this one room!

Did a small mistake here, should have put focus in the middle of the first chain.
He is basically unapproachable in melee.

This is a pair of cartilage chain earrings- the one connects from the cartilage to the lobe and the other dangles from the lobe.
This style is a bit different from what I usually make, though, because the top of the cartilage earring has a figure-8 shaped wire; this is so that it can be slipped onto a barbell earring. The little loop is for in case the attached loop is too large. Fingers crossed that it fits!
The earrings are made using enameled copper wire in green and blue and bright aluminum wire (the silver color). The figure 8 is also made from the aluminum wire.
At the end of the earrings are two round dark blue glass beads and a larger lighter blue glass beads with a light blue, green, and black design. The earring posts are silver-colored metal. The entire ear-piece is about 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) long from the wire figure 8 to the bottom bead (this is the shorter chain measurement), and is 2" (5.1 cm) long from the figure 8 to the earring post.
made myself a Chakra key chain - tried to find a stone that would fit each colour as closely as I could... typically rose quartz is used for the heart, but I preferred the look of the green:
crown - white - agate
3rd eye - purple - crazy lace agate
throat - blue - sodalite
heart - pink or green - green adventurine
solar plexus - yellow - citrine
sacral - orange - carnelian
root - black - smoky quartz
I have looked everywhere I can think of for a totem pole without any success. So, I am posting this cropped archive shot of some chain saw carvings. At the far right on the bottom is a Halloween(?) sort of totem pole that almost didn't make it into the frame.

We made this paper chain in the first apartment where we lived together. We made about twenty feet of it at the time. This much survives, 28(?) years later.
Petra is trying to pretend as if she has been chained and forced to play the violin and it makes her feel so sad (or may be just fed up of an amateur like me)
Also known as the Basilica Eudoxiana, it was first rebuilt on older foundations in 432–440 to house the relic of the chains that bound Saint Peter when he was imprisoned in Jerusalem, the episode called "Liberation of Saint Peter". The Empress Eudoxia (wife of Emperor Valentinian III), who received them as a gift from her mother, Aelia Eudocia, consort of Valentinian II, presented the chains to Pope Leo I. Aelia Eudocia had received these chains as a gift from Iuvenalis, bishop of Jerusalem.
According to legend, when Leo compared them to the chains of St. Peter's final imprisonment in the Mamertine Prison, in Rome, the two chains miraculously fused together. The chains are now kept in a reliquary under the main altar in the basilica
