Brought the bike in for a tune up and a new chain and rear gear cluster. Here is the old one that served me for the past +2500 miles.

Kids from Erica's class taped together their drawings to make an enormous chain. Regular edenpictures visitors may recognize Finn and Natalie on the left and Lula and Mayim on the right.

Taken from the sand looking up! got wet for this shot so if you don't like it I will come around your place and thrash you.

Sunnyside Cemetery & Long Beach Municipal Cemetery (city owned) are located next to each other on Willow St. A chain link fence is the only thing that separates them.

This photo shows the fence with Sunnyside in the foreground.

The Chain Bridge was opened in 1849, as the first modern bridge over the Danube in Budapest. Fisherman's Bastion is at the far left.

First up close view of the Chain Bridge in Budapest.

A chain-driven street sweeper attachment that can be connected to a tractor. (078a)

this is an example of a dud shot..as in i thought i might be able to get a photo of the waterfront through the fence..not even close but hey a groovy shot of metal lol..

Chaines sur le port

I flamework links of Pyrex glass by hand, one at a time, without molds. I developed and honed this time-consuming technique to build lengths of chains and piles of delicate-- but strong-- transparent necklaces. The clasps are also flameworked in glass.

These necklaces are available! Find my contact on my blog, linked below.

From the start of the Chain Walk near Earlsferry in Fife.

Rusted chains and a lock on a gate (leading up to my favourite red-roof barn)

I liked the combination of the steel lock with the partial rusted chain.

Snow chains. 2 sets available. 20 mil each.

On a flagpole at a neat abandoned wood mill I happened upon during my daily walk. I have a feeling I'll be going back there a lot.

When she was 12 years old, Maria Goretti fended off a would-be rapist. He stabbed her 14 times since she wouldn't submit. Maria died of her injuries within 24 hours, but not before she said she forgave her attacker and wanted to see him in Heaven with her. She died in 1902.

Twenty-seven years later, the attacker was released from prison and immediately went to Maria's mother to beg her forgiveness (she accepted). They then went to Mass together, where they received Communion side by side.

This is closeup of Maria's attacker, Alessandro Serenelli, caught in the chains and darkness of sin in a painting in the new Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe just south of LaCrosse, WI.

Daleks are Red, Carpets are Blue

This month of Feb, is Solely for You

Nature has been cruel today. First the broken egg and now a baby frog.

While hiking today we came across a large broken down, thoroughly rusted structure. We could see an axle, and multiple wheels for a possible pulley structure, a large collapsed tower or arm, and many struts littering the ground everywhere. This chain had made it's way very close to the trail, and is so solidly rusted that it no longer moves.
