The day before the Red Bull Air Race. The streets along the Danube were closed, even the right hand side of the "Chain Bridge". Sorry about the traffic sign on the left. It ruins the geometry. But I wasn't allowed to remove it. :-)

I always love the anticipation of a lovely evening out, the preparation, the outfit, the selection of which lingerie your partner for the evening may later enjoy, the wonderful feeling of sliding on the fully fashioned nylons you know will be a feast for the eyes and the senses, the choice of your dress length (to tease, to be demure or to demand attention) and the wonderful sound of your spike heels as you leave the house confidently looking forward to what the evening will bring, So here you are a little look back at the start of my Saturday evening out...hope you enjoy the journey too...
Mooring chain on HMS Unicorn in Dundee docks - the ship was built in 1824 and has been in Dundee on and off since 1873.
A chain moray, Echidna catenate, watched as divers passed by. Morays have no pectoral nor pelvic fins, but their dorsal fin runs from the head to the tail. They can catch small fish in open water, but more frequently they catch fish by surprise, or trap fish or crabs in crevices. Morays have poor vision but a keen sense of smell. If you look at the next to largest resolution, you will see that it has 4 protruding nostrils--water goes in the nostrils at the end of the snout, and goes out the nostrils just above the eyes.
The Chain Bridge is one of Budapest's most famous landmarks. The magnificent suspension bridge the river Danube between Pest and Buda, at the time still separate cities.
Echo and I waited for Emory at the train station today as he went up to Seattle to attend his grand daughter's wedding and returned home today. Echo handle the strange sounds at the depot really well---the loud rumbling of the parked freight train [see below] didn't phase her.

I've got a pregnant cat to trap tomorrow at my cat colony. I tried to trap her earlier this summer but she was wise to my trap so I only trapped her kitten and decided to wait until Fall to trap her when the migrant workers had moved on. But Felipe says it looks like she could have kittens any time...so I must act fast. Wish me luck. I will not be on Flickr until tomorrow night.
