Just testing out my new G10.
I have also decided to start documenting the Malé swimming track; which is basically and quite ironically, the islands only swimming area. Unless you count the artificial beach; but that place is tiny and extremely shallow.

The largest surviving chained library in the world is at Hereford Cathedral in the UK, where all the books are still kept under lock and key in their original chains. It has been rebuilt in its original arrangement, exactly as it had been from 1611 to 1841.
Medieval books were very expensive and the chain allowed them to be read but not removed.

The first time you get a belly chain around your waist is a very special feeling.
The first thing you notice is how extremely restrictive it is. Picking something up, adjusting the jumpsuit snaps, even walking in the already pretty restrictive leg irons -- it all becomes way more difficult. There is no way anyone would be able to hurt somebody wearing this, let alone escape. Once the chains go on, you're completely in the control of the CO's.
The fact that a scrawny guy like me has to be put in such heavy restraints "for everyone's safety" is just surrea. I'm in deep trouble this time...
