An abandoned cotton spinning mill somewhere in Wales. Abandoned for some time, not sure on the history behind it. Visited with Wiffsmiff23. Ended up doing some obscure macro work as part of the visit too.

Another boring and unimaginative Bokeh shot today again. I took a nearly identical picture yesterday when I was out, but the light was bad and there was way to much noise in the image. So I just went back today and got the shot. Being quite busy again at the moment, so I might keep it at fast bokeh shots for the week.
The Give-Away is closed now and I will draw and post the winners tomorrow.

Every October there is the Budapest Marathon. The organizers always advertise with a picture of runners crossing this bridge. I thought it was just as big as the Brooklyn Bridge but is smaller.
More from 2010, my 1st Halloween shooting with a DSLR.

March 5th, 2012, Phoenix AZ, USA : Estrella Jail is home to the male and America's only female chain gang. Inmates stay in there tiny 8x12 foot cells 23 hours of the day during " lock down," unless they are out on assigned chain gang duty, for which they can volunteer.
The chain is locked behind my back so that I won't be able to reach the padlock. That makes sitting quite uncomfortable, but in court, I'll have to stand before the judge anyhow.
Chained to reality
I think it is hard to admit it, but we are chained in some way or another to many things.
Chained to our desk so we can provide, chained to our religion (we choose to be) to heal our soul, chained to a culture, heck even chained to the internet (specially flickr, he he he).
This chains will become weaker as we acknowledge their existence; and even if we keep them (we in certain ways need them), we know we can break them if we need to.
We often don't need to break them apart to be free.
