Happy weekend :)
Surprisingly, St Louis is actually a fantastic city to photograph. Lots of great architecture and beautiful parks around that city. Here is a collection of photos I have been working on from my visit there a couple months ago.
This top photo is the Chain Of Rocks Bridge. There are several different bridges that were at one time, the official Rt 66 bridge. This is the most famous of them. It's no longer used as a bridge, but you can still walk on it.
This chain is attached to the rocky ledge above (right) and linked to the boulder below (center). The chain is to give comfort to the folk down in the hollow. I think the theory is that the boulder will not break off from the knob and roll into downtown Pineville (far left, a third up the photo) without the chain first buying the town folk some time.

The Széchenyi Chain Bridge (Hungarian: Széchenyi lánchíd) is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. At the time, its center span of 202 metres (663 ft) was one of the largest in the world.

On my summer trip I discovered that I love the cities by night!
Expecially Budapest and Ljubljana
with their wonderful bridges and lights reflected on the rivers!
Today in Alba we had a rainy day.
My father came to us for lunch
and after I spent the hole afternoon

This is a stopwatch that my grandmother gave to me a very long time ago. I used to be obsessed with trains [like every other 6 year old] and it has a train on the front.
You better love lovin' and you better behave
You better love lovin' and you better behave
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Calls her man the great white hope
Says she's fine, she'll always cope
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Well I feel lying and waiting is a poor man's deal
(A poor man's deal)
And I feel hopelessly weighed down by your eyes of steel
(Your eyes of steel)
Well, it's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains, whoa
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Trades her soul as skin and bones
(You better love lovin' and you better behave)
Sells the only thing she owns
(You better love lovin' and you better behave)
Woman in chains
(The sun and the moon)
Woman in chains
Men of stone
Men of stone
Well I feel deep in your heart there are wounds time can't heal
(That time can't heal)
And I feel somebody somewhere is trying to breathe
Well you know what I mean
It's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains
It's under my skin but out of my hands
I'll tear it apart but I won't understand
I will not accept the greatness of man
It's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains
(Gone crazy, keeps woman in chains)
So free her.

За героїв, за мир і за життя. Слава Україні.
For the heroes, for peace and for life. Glory to the Ukraine.
I've never noticed this before, but there's a little 'trapdoor' in the floor of the bandstand at the local park. The doors are chained up.
I wonder what's down there?!

Markarian's Chain is a stretch of galaxies that forms part of the Virgo Cluster. When viewed from Earth, the galaxies lie along a smoothly curved line. It was named after the Armenian astrophysicist, Benjamin Markarian, who discovered their common motion in the early 1960s. Member galaxies include M84 (NGC 4374), M86 (NGC 4406), NGC 4477, NGC 4473, NGC 4461, NGC 4458, NGC 4438 and NGC 4435. Near the center there appear the pair of interacting galaxies NGC 4438 and NGC 4435, about 50 million light-years away, known to some as Markarian's Eyes.At least seven galaxies in the chain appear to move coherently, although others appear to be superposed by chance. Six of the points on the chain can be marked by galaxies. The other two points are pairs of galaxies
