Macro-Mondays-The Space In-Between
The chain with the beige end operates the lights. The one with the black end operates the ceiling fan. Below is the ceiling fan I used for this photo.
Tiny Gold Cross from the Chain on My Paternal Grandfather's Pocket Watch. Antique for sure.

You better love lovin' and you better behave
You better love lovin' and you better behave
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Calls her man the great white hope
Says she's fine, she'll always cope
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Well I feel lying and waiting is a poor man's deal
(A poor man's deal)
And I feel hopelessly weighed down by your eyes of steel
(Your eyes of steel)
Well, it's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains, whoa
Woman in chains
Woman in chains
Trades her soul as skin and bones
(You better love lovin' and you better behave)
Sells the only thing she owns
(You better love lovin' and you better behave)
Woman in chains
(The sun and the moon)
Woman in chains
Men of stone
Men of stone
Well I feel deep in your heart there are wounds time can't heal
(That time can't heal)
And I feel somebody somewhere is trying to breathe
Well you know what I mean
It's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains
It's under my skin but out of my hands
I'll tear it apart but I won't understand
I will not accept the greatness of man
It's a world gone crazy
Keeps woman in chains
(Gone crazy, keeps woman in chains)
So free her.
You cannot take someone's hand with a fist.
За героїв, за мир і за життя. Слава Україні.
For the heroes, for peace and for life. Glory to the Ukraine.
On my summer trip I discovered that I love the cities by night!
Expecially Budapest and Ljubljana
with their wonderful bridges and lights reflected on the rivers!
Today in Alba we had a rainy day.
My father came to us for lunch
and after I spent the hole afternoon
reading "And the Mountains Echoed"
by Khaled Hosseini, beautiful but sad...
I wish you all a good week end!

Messing about rotating lights and waving coloured lights around in the moonlit night. Fueled by Northern Monk and cheap rum. Thanks to Phill for being able to stand-up let alone stand still!

There were a couple of boats in a row along the side of the River Thames. Reminded me of the Canon 550 advert, except that was in Venice.
Markarian's Chain is a stretch of galaxies that forms part of the Virgo Cluster. When viewed from Earth, the galaxies lie along a smoothly curved line. It was named after the Armenian astrophysicist, Benjamin Markarian, who discovered their common motion in the early 1960s. Member galaxies include M84 (NGC 4374), M86 (NGC 4406), NGC 4477, NGC 4473, NGC 4461, NGC 4458, NGC 4438 and NGC 4435. Near the center there appear the pair of interacting galaxies NGC 4438 and NGC 4435, about 50 million light-years away, known to some as Markarian's Eyes.At least seven galaxies in the chain appear to move coherently, although others appear to be superposed by chance. Six of the points on the chain can be marked by galaxies. The other two points are pairs of galaxies

Using an old dead lighter as a fire starer after turning the kitchen fire on as low as possible, then with an exposure of 15 sec I started making sparkles on top of the fire with the Sparkwheel (the lighter need to be empty and have a sparkwheel) causing a chain reaction of sparkles.(please if someone want to try this please place your camera lens as far as possible from the fire).
What we live all our life long is like a mountains chain.
Our life is made of reliefs. Every important moment we can know builds slowly but powerfully the vast landscape of our soul and our faces.

All that's missing is a junkyard dog on a chain. Up on cribbing on a weed choked track, this RS11 is near the end of it's life in 2002. Built for the Northern Pacific in 1960, some BN green is showing through, but it's obvious it's going nowhere fast. This and another RS11 were sold for scrap in 2004.

I enjoyed cherry blossom viewing with co-workers on that day. As I had already taken cherry blossoms a lot, this yellow flower was seen at all beautifully.
