That day, the LRZ (Lösch- und Rettungszug, one of the emergency relief trains of the SBB, used for firefighting, towing away stranded trains, etc.) of Erstfeld went out to pick up a small tank car, presumably at Göschenen. Here, the convoy is on its way back (with said tank car visible at the rear) and is almost back at base. Silenen, 20-05-2016.

Der Muottas Muragl (rätoromanisch Muotta ‚Anhöhe‘, muottas als Plural, Muragl als Flurname) ist ein Ausflugsberg mit einer Höhe von 2'453 m ü. M. im Oberengadin. Er liegt auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Samedan und bietet einen weiten Ausblick über das Oberengadin mit der Engadiner Seenplatte (Silsersee, Silvaplanersee und St. Moritzersee). Ein Wanderweg führt mit ca. 400 m Höhendifferenz zur Segantinihütte auf dem Schafberg, wo 1899 der Maler Giovanni Segantini verstarb. Ein einfacher zu begehender Weg führt zur Alp Languard.
Der Muottas Muragl ist zu Fuss oder mit einer Standseilbahn von Punt Muragl (zwischen Samedan und Pontresina) aus erreichbar. Die Standseilbahn Muottas Muragl-Bahn (MMB) hat eine Streckenlänge von 2199 m und überwindet 709 m Höhendistanz. Sie ist die älteste Bergbahn im Engadin und feierte 2007 ihr 100-jähriges Bestehen.

Train: SZU Re456 with discardet Rolling Stock
Am 9. August 2007 drehten sich die Räder der SZU BDe's inkl. Mittel und Steuerwagen zum letzten mal. Eine Re456 der SZU fuhr zwei BDe sowie drei Mittel und drei Steuerwagen von Zürich zu einem Schrotthändler in Kaiseraugst nähe Basel. Die SZU Loks sind auf ihrer Stammstrecke im Sihltal auf der S4 alltäglich. Ausserhalb dieser Gleise aber nur sehr selten anzutreffen.

Oirshot is a training ground for the Dutch Army. Still it's freely accessible. On most weekdays helicopters come from Gilze Rijen for training. Chinooks, Cougars and (if you're very lucky) Apaches.
On this day only CH-47D D-102 'Big Spender' came by. Alas, I could not take good photos as the chopper did not land at the spot I was waiting. This was my first time here, but not my last.
