TOWNSHEND ISLAND, Australia (July 13, 2017) Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), board landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 10, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, as part of large-scale amphibious assault during Talisman Saber 17. LCAC 10, launched from the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), enabled movement of 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) forces and equipment ashore in order for the MEU to complete mission objectives in tandem with Australian counterparts. A CH-53 helicopters flies over a Republic of Korea Amphibious Assualt vehicle during a mock amphibious assault conducted by the Marine and Naval forces of the Republic of Korea, Thailand and the US, at Hat Yao, Feb. 4. The event was part of Exercise Cobra Gold 2010. Cobra Gold 2010 marks the 29th anniversary of the annual, joint and coalition multinational exercise, hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand. The exercise consists of a Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative Exercise, Command Post Exercise, HCA projects and field training exercises. The goal of the exercise is to enhance military interoperability and improves communities through humanitarian assistance and civil action projects. An amphibious assault demonstrates the use of naval firepower, logistics and strategy to project military power ashore. An amphibious landing of infantry troops on a beach a complex military maneuvers. The undertaking requires coordination of numerous military specialties, including air power, naval gunfire, naval transport, logistical planning, specialized equipment, land warfare, tactics and extensive training for all personnel involved. Yay Im the First civilian to take a picture of CH-53K Besides Workers
I was in the everglades one day with my camera and i saw a distant helicopter so it took out my lens and took this picture to see what helicopter was that, when i look at it thought it was an european helicopter you know NH-90 painted white or an S-92 but when i came back home i saw the picture closer and i can tell its not nh90, so i when went to to read about CH-53 and noticed that its rotors are red and white not like CH-53 more like a civil helicopter, then i noticed that it has HUGE Cockpit windows just like CH-53K, so i go read about the CH-53K AND THEN I FIND OUT that There are building this chopper IN FLORIDA West palm beach FL Where they will do its first flight so i guess thats why it has its rotors red and white because its still owned by sikorsky and not military

An Irizar PB bodied Scania that was a challenge to photograph as the Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre car park was rather congested that day.
I previously photographed this coach with Crosville of Weston-Super-Mare. Ironic that Jodrell Bank was for many years within the heart of the 'real' Crosville empire.
