Death certificate issued for French Y. La Maiz on January 22, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona....
French was a transient and little is known about his life. It was estimated that he was born circa 1896 in an unknown locale.
French was found dead in his room at the American Hotel located at East Pennington Street in Tucson on December 17, 1951. This hotel was frequented by transients, such as French. He was determined to have died from "natural causes."
Here is a photograph of his grave:

Nothing but trees as far as the eye can reach... In the middle of nowhere we discovered an abandoned hunter’s house. On a cold spring morning we set off to find out what’s inside this old building hidden deep in the woods. We found a fully furnished home that was once owned by a God-fearing man. And all his personal remains were still there! Join us on a travel back in time: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mjZyFfjpT0
