Mount Merapi is an active volcano located on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548.
The name Merapi could be loosely translated as 'Mountain of Fire'. Smoke can be seen emerging from the mountaintop at least 300 days a year, and several eruptions have caused fatalities. On the afternoon of 25 October 2010 Mount Merapi eruptions considered to exceed the intensity of those in 1872.
We took this photo in October 2007 whist in early January 2008 we heard that there was continuous heavy rain in this areas resulting to erosion. the erosion caused to bury around 30 houses in this areas and some people were buried in.

The temple body is 4.1m square, with a projecting porch to the west. At the centre of the northern, eastern and southern walls are pierced niches.
