This pond water contains quite a lot of sulfur, so the color of the lake water looks colorful when exposed to sunlight. That why this lake called Telogo Worno at Dieng on Wonosobo regency in province of Central Java, Indonesia.

Dieng Plateau is one of the largest volcanic complexes in Indonesia near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. Taken from Sikunir hill, you could see Mt Sindoro (right upfront), Mt Sumbing (behind), Mt Merapi and Mt Merbabu (far away), Mt Lawu and Ambarawa Highlands.
Climbing this Sikunir hill for sunrise was really challenging - especially with fully loaded 8X10 backpack. Wish you could enjoy the glory of this morning rise. Have another great Monday my friends !.

Sungai kecil ini memisahkan wilayah Kudus & Jepara,
lokasinya tak jauh dari rumahku,
waktu kecil saya sering main disungai itu,
kadang airnya melimpah (musim hujan), kadang tak seberapa (musim kemarau).
Setidaknya sampai sekarang sungai ini masih terjaga keasriannya.
Yogyakarta has been the capital of Yogyakarta Sultanate since 1745 until present. It is also a cultural capital of Java and a lively university town. Before the sultanate was established, surrounding areas of Yogyakarta had been the seats of Hindu, Buddhist, and Islam dynasties, such as Sanjaya, Shailendra and Mataram. Hence, Yogyakarta is a good base to explore the heritage of these dynasties, notably, Borobudur and Prambanan.
At Sembungan village, highest altitude town in Java island, tadpole shaped lake Cebong is misty everyday. This beautiful lake is amazingly peaceful viewed from the peak of Mount Sikunir, also a good panoramic landscape from the lakeshores.
Winter breeze from Australia will turn this whole area into a frosty land.
