OMG the belt is going to kill me! I was making fun of this sign at work. Then I printed the picture and put it up. Then people drew stuff on the picture (including me).
There are about five of these all identical, yet handmade, every few yards along this street. Someone had a really bad experience...
Caution! Parking lot may be icy. Probably isn't. But you just can't be too sure.

(ahem. When Caution stopped going to the tanning beds--that is, when I put her on the MSR face instead of MRM--I sort of popped her original stock ring off into space. I bought her a new one but haven't bothered to put it on yet LOL)
Caution buoy near Saba rock. We're one out of about 1/10th of people who actually observe the no wake rule.
Yeah... that Birch Tree looks pretty dangerous to me... definitely requires some warning tape... HTTT... I think?
An interesting view of the edge of a cornfield, last years cut stalks still standing against the blue sky - the caution tape on the ground adds a nice touch, I think...

This is the only signage we saw on the entire journey. Initially I lamented the poor communication, but on further consideration I have a suspicion it's done on purpose to discourage people from taking the route.
I haven't found any numbers on fatalities, but I'm guessing the local council would prefer not sending out rescue helicopters each week.
I will say that I'm very glad we had Chris as our guide. This was his 3/4th ascent, so whilst scary, at least we knew where we were going.
