I'm obviously playing catchup after being stagnant here for awhile. Today I have a hankering for some Pinkberry… Too bad I'm sick of driving after the 8 hour ride back from WDW yesterday.
This is an abstract view of the chair and stone floor in the Canal St. New Orleans Pinkberry.
Day 64/365..playing catchup. On those days that I go for a walk at work I pass this building and I always admire how beautiful it looks. Today I didn't go for a walk but instead decided to take a few snap shots of this building for my Photo of the Day. Today it looked especially beautiful with the blue window panes against the blue and white sky.
Playing catchup on Sideshow Collectibles' #octoberphotoaday challenge! It's ME (albeit, oldschool me, but me)!

For my dramatically behind 365 project.
Trying to catch up on all my days I didn't get uploaded. Nothing special about any of em. But they exist nonetheless. And I think all of em will be coming off my iPhone, so the quality won't be perfect.
Of note in this photo: Austyn's basketball trophy and MY Audrey Hepburn Barbie doll. Yes, it is mine. I have owned it for many more years than my daughter has actually existed. I love Audrey. :)
"...and then he said catchup...Catchup! You get it?"
"Yes...Tommy, I get it. Catchup like in Ketchup. Lets go, I gotta meet up my mom at the pharmacy."
"Cool hat by the way, is it new?"
"it's an old one, my dad's really."

Update: The store is back. Online, but still! The feeling when you got home from school, 10 years old and their catalogue arrived through the mail. The feeling!
project 52 catchup and this is becoming somewhat of a tradition!
HJ now has amano and cherry shrimp in her tank and this is a female amano carrying her eggs (known as being 'berried') and if you look close enough, you can see the eyes of the young in the eggs that she is carrying on her rear legs
unlike the cherries, the amano young require saltwater and the adults cannot tolerate salt so there will be no 'shrimplets' unfortunately

Week 56 - salmon
Finding a close match to salmon was hard! Luckily I was at my parents' house, where my awards from various academic contests are stored. I believe this fourth place ribbon was from a math competition. It's not bad considering that math is my weakest subject next to history.
I appear to have lost my ability to take good pictures with my point-and-shoot.
I got the title from a quote by Neil Armstrong: "I think we're going to the moon because it's in the nature of the human being to face challenges. It's by the nature of his deep inner soul... we're required to do these things just as salmon swim upstream."
We had a catchup yesterday to hear all about the Urban Sketchers symposium. At the usual place - The Tea Cosy. I loved the purple on with the turquoise ringlets. Today I was making a sketchbook with a beautiful Balinese fabric cover in gilded purple. I had some purple Mi-teintes paper for it, so I cut some tiny pieces to balalnce my composition.
I'll be honest, I didn’t do anything exciting today. I didn’t even leave the apartment for God's sake! Partly because it was pissing rain all day and partly because I had some things to catch up on on the interwebs.
I’ve had a busy month or so and I’m finally getting back to some sort of normality and I’m looking to put more focus on my 365 project as I’ve been pretty darn lax with the whole thing recently.
So working away and listening to the new Kanye West and Kodaline albums has been my day in a nutshell :)
This is a catchup photo taken in the London underground when I was down there in September. There was this almighty wind blowing through, it was so cool. :D
