Casting in progress at Central Technical School on April 26_07... This shot shows the first 'blue' layer of plaster right after I've thrown it on the front of the bust. I'll cover this with a second layer of white plaster.

These huge iron castings were components of the previous Welland Canal and Bridges system. Now, they function primarily as erosion control elements.
