OK, not totally sharp, but I liked it because you can see the molten bronze pour down during casting
Memorial Day week-end on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, CA.
Shot with Fuji X-M1 and Vivitar 24mm f/2.8 M42 lens on screw-mount to Alpa mount adapter paired to a metabones Speed Booster adapter in Alpa mount to Fuji-X mount.
Just for fun....I have seen many members with there photos of crayons and pencils and I thought I would try hair clips for something different :))) have a nice day to you all....It's freaky Friday !!!!!!

The casting needs a bit more rubbing down, this is the back of the axlebox showing the bearing in place. My next task is to drill out the wheel centres to fit on the axles and cut the axles to length to suit the wagon underframe.

Probably my favourite casting out of the 3 Tomica copy coaches available from Poundland is this Isuzu Gala nicely finished in a pale grey. Bizzarely the baseplate describes this as a Hummer! The manufacturer is Zhehong Toys but is sold under the Funtastic brand. Worth seeking out as a cut price alternative to the Tomica version. Mint and boxed.

Normally I would have cropped this a little lower but I wanted to get the top of his line in the shot. Can you see his bait (a fish) on the top of the line?

I had fun making up "my own" butterfly colors. There's only a couple of them that are true to nature the rest are nature inspired.See my photostream to view more pics of this belly casting and/or view pics of the other belly castings that I've done.

Left side of Jodi's 3rd belly casting. It looks like swatches of fabric with 2 streets crossing it. See more angles of this belly casting and the other ones that I've made in my photostream.
Step 7: Release and repeat! I pulled out the hardened plastic pieces and cut away the extra flashing. You can see a few of the helmets that I didn't completely fill the molds on, like the storm trooper, airborne trooper, and Jango helmet. My next ones will be better for sure!
