In this photo, a mosquito pupa case floats around in a petri dish in our classroom in New Covenant School. We inferred that a mosquito hatched from this hardened case. This mosquito pupa skin is 1 cm long. Also, it feels squishy like jello. One group described it as feeling spongey and bouncy. We noticed that there is a little cut where the mosquito came out. After the mosquito emerged from the case, it floated on the surface of the water waiting for its wings to harden. Our teacher, Mr. Walker, got this skin from the Arlington Reservoir in MA on May 23, 2013. Mosquitos live in all continents, except Antarctica. Some kinds of mosquitos drink blood. Can you see the wings?

Interesting combination of lantern and case fronm the Dave Defrates Auction in October 2019

Lantern is a very good condition Coleman 220E with yellow tinted globe inside an interesting case. Case is well built - not sure if converted from something else - or made for this purpose

Any ideas?

Stickers from various ICCC Coleman functions, typically at the "light up" events all participants are provided a sticker for their lantern. Many have a dedicated light up lantern - this appears to be one of them.

Here's my second effort at using a large gamaguchi purse frame. Thanks once again to Lisa at U-Handbags for showing me how to make it in her tutorial.

An investigative study into the ways in which certain minorities express themselves, in this case, it’s Drag Queens. Drag is an art and refined skill, but most importantly, drag is a way for one to express themselves through the beauty of a performative identity. Having spoken to over 100 queens over Instagram, I have discovered so much about the culture; such as the fact that there are categories of queens such as comedy queens, spooky queens, club kids, pageant and the most dominant being look queens. It’s fair to say that drag is not something you’d class as ‘normal’, but that certainly doesn’t devalue the significance it truly holds. Breaking gender stereotypes is such a vital way for society to progress. Offensive ideologies such as sexism, homophobia and even transphobia seem to be alleviated as soon as one gets into drag. A man dressed as a women, (usually) part of the LGBT community and clothed in a plethora of elegant attires is so strongly standing for those who are socially repressed in nowadays society for the way in which they identify. Talking to Dixey the queen, she opened my eyes to the idea that “drag is there for those who need that boost of inspiration, that kick of confidence or stance of pride. I live unapologetically and standing on that stage with my double Ds and 30 inch wig makes me feel powerful. but i don’t do it for my own ego, I do it for those who need need the encouragement to be who they want. Yeh, I look like a fool up there, but when my head is high and the crowds are cheering, someone in the world is feeling like they can conquer anything and that is why I get up every morning”. "greenGEAR" environmentally conscious phone cases began arriving in stores this week. If you are in the Midwest and need a phone case, please consider buying a greenGEAR product at Meijer. Making this line a success will continue to show retailers that renewable products are a viable alternative in electronics accessories.

case mayfield @ Paard

this is my third attempt at a raspberry pi case, this time made of perspex instead of card. unfortunately some of the holes, especially the hdmi port hole are out of place

Sadly revision one of the case has a few small issues: the side panels aren't actually long enough to interlock, so there are gaps in the corner, and the tabs at the top of the front and back panels overlapped and got cut in, so there are no tabs there. Everything else works nicely, though!
