These pillow cases are handmade. My illustrations are printed on organic cotton sateen. And the backing is made of a matching fabrics.

shows the detail on the pupal case a bit better - the large white that broke into my kitchen as a caterpillar and pupated on the wall on 30/11/14 hatches oh 30/03/15. Unfortunately I was out working when it happened and it was getting dark when I got home (hence the shutter speed!), but there it is! The one outdoors is, unsurprisingly, still not hatched,

Over at Muse Card Club this week, the Muse is none other than Virginia Lu. I was inspired by her bright colours. So I pulled out a very old Hero Arts set ( thanks to Judy for reminding me of it) and some of the bright distress inks. Some masking, faux stitching and here is my card for the challenge.

Pencil case I made for a friend. Made from sheets of felt, cut out and creatively hand sewn on with embroidery thread. Outside of pensilcase and zip are machine sewn.
