This is The Medium Sized Sears Coldspot unit complete. This, along with the Philco Ford with Air Scan and Automatic Shift, is my #1 Air Conditioner on my want list. These are much more common than the Philco. The front grilles can vary a little bit, as can the Control Panels depending on what model, but the outside aways has COLDSPOT embossed on the back as seen in the photo. these are very nice and well built units.

After a long trip (2 weeks!) between Liverpool, UK, and Lyon, France, this Foca photo case arrived safety on May 22, 2023.
In the original Foca Universel "R" user manual (1956-1962), this bag is presented on page 31 in camera accessory section as : "La MALETTE SPECIALE FOCA contient l'appareil muni d'un objectif, et du viseur universel, quatre autres objectifs, et les accessoires indispensables : filtres, pare-soleil, cellule photo-électrique, etc" (translated to : "The SPECIAL FOCA CASE contains the camera fitted with a lens, and the universal viewfinder, four other lenses, and the essential accessories: filters, shade hoods, photoelectric cell, etc.").
The case is covered outside with plain leather and is lined internal with dark brown/purple velvet. The size is 25x16x12.5cm very similar to my Canon case likely from the 70's. To ease the camera and lenses manipulation, the case back is articulated on a leather bellow.
About Foca and the camera:
The Foca Universel "R" is the late series (circa 1956-1962) of the Foca Universel 35mm range-finder camera appeared in 1949 and produced until 1956. The Universel model of Foca was fitted with a bayonet mount instead of the 36mm screw mount of other Foca PF (PF standing for "Petit Format"). Foca camera's were constructed in France by the company "Optique & Precision de Levallois" (OPL) in the OPL factory of Chateaudun (Eure) starting from 1947. This factory still exists under the name of SAFRAN a French company producing aerospace devices and systems.
Pictures were taken using a Sony A7 body fitted to a Minolta Compact Bellows and a Auto Bellows Macro Minolta lens 1:4 f=100mm

This is the festival of devotion, belief and faith of people in India. Its generally about those 11 days when lord Ganesha is welcomed by every one - be it their home, housing societies, private colonies or big stage called "pandals". For all the devotees, its the most awaited festival of the year as their beloved "Bappa" is believed to be visiting their lives.
The City of Celebration - Mumbai, has its own ways of celebrating and enjoying the festivity. Preparations here begins months back from the main festival - its about making of the Ganesha idol, its about the decoration and its about preparation of the stages or mandaps and joining all those small and tiny bits.
Most critical of all the preparation is the making of Ganesha idol which begins at least a couple of months back and in some rare cases immediately post the current years festival's end. The Ganesha idols are from 1 inch to 35-40 feets huge so one can easily imagine the scale of preparation that undergoes in festival. Near festival day, most of the streets are lit and decorated with Ganesha idols, decoration items, variety of lightings etc. All these is being sold in the shops and on the streets.
In Dadar - mumbai, we spotted one such lane, filled with Ganesha idols on both side of the lanes, literally thousands of them, these are villagers from Maharashtra who brings / makes their idols from their villages to earn their livelihood.
This is a photograph from the first running of the Mullingar Half Marathon which was held on Tuesday 17th March 2015 St. Patrick's Day Lá Fhéile Pádraig in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland at 11:00. Just under 600 people participated in the event which was a wonderful success on the event's first running. The event was in aid of the charity Childline. The weather was perfect for distance running and the course was a perfect mixture of town, flat bogland country roads and a long stretch along the beautiful Royal Canal. The race started on Austin Friars' Street and finished in town park beside the Annebrook Hotel.

The explaination is very simple.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

My lovely patchwork kindle case. I adore how this turned out. I was wracked with self-doubt about my color choices, but in the end I think it turned out perfect for me. Working on one for my mom now, too. Shhhh, don't tell. It's a Xmas present.
If you want to make one too, I followed the tutorial on the Sometimes Crafter blog here. A note, I had issues with mine only turning out 14"x10" when I went to trim it after quilting, so if it is important to you to have as large of a flap as she does, you may want to make your squares a big larger or make an extra row. I thought at first maybe I mis-measured, but I was uber-careful with my mom's and it had the same problem. I made my squares 2 5/8". If I try again I would probably go with 3".)
