One of the few harmless snakes found here in Australia. Australia Zoo (Nov 2008)

Absolutely no shortage of corellas - short bills, long bills and short/long bill crosses - where we live in the Gold Coast hinterland. Each day we get plenty of these guys coming around to visit and love it when they bring their young to visit.

This is the skin of a python. An electrician found it in the roof of my hostel today, which means it's fairly likely its previous owner lives up there. Awesome.

I always thought I'd be scared of snakes, but now that I'm actually in a country full of the bastards I find them strangely fascinating.

Coastal Carpet Python on route to Geocache GCA0H2Q near Springbrook National Park, Queensland Australia.

New snake case I built for Bree's carpet pythons (I know, sounds like a lewd euphamism).

Wolfboids female (without flash - closer to real colours)

2008 female. Head has moved but a good indication of body colour. She's not 2 years old yet - can't wait to see what she looks like at 4 years.

Jungle Carpet Python - Morelia spilota

strobist: single Viv3700 (sucks) w/ stofen, full pwr, directly over subject and slightly camera left.

Can't wait for proper gear

75% jungle jag female - Wolfboids bred

Found this fella sunning on a rock by a stream.

This Alexandrine parrot dropped by for a visit early December, 2016. These are not part of the natural wildlife where we live in the Gold Coast hinterland, more likely this is an escaped pet.
