Squirt just shed

Sonoka at almost 2 years of age..she's all grown up now!

That wooden post is not small. Nor is the verandah or the tree fern leaf. There was no way I was getting more than half of the python in one frame.

Out of the blue, Honky started visiting us in late 2007 and was a regular, daily visitor until in 2012 he/she partnered up to start a family. We haven't seen Honky now since 2014.

These photos are not as good as I would have liked but I was not able to get very close as I was on the bridge above the creek bank, and of course in the wild you take what you get.
