Finally, a picture of Exordium! He is a diamond jungle carpet python. He's about 11 years old, almost 8 feet, and hungry all the time. He loves watching the dog walk by...I wish he'd stop that.
And t his is Mango, a short bill corella. Mango has also been a regular for a number of years now. He has a deformed left foot which looked quite mangalated when he started visiting,
hence the name Mango.

Absolutely no shortage of corellas - short bills, long bills and short/long bill crosses - where we live in the Gold Coast hinterland. Each day we get plenty of these guys coming around to visit and love it when they bring their young to visit.
This is the latest addition to our family. He's a jaguar carpet python born in late 2005. He is still name-less as of yet, because we aren't too creative right now.

This carpet python has been living under our house for quite a while. Normally snakes don't worry me, except now I own a 3 month old kitten, who would make a tasty meal for this quite large python. He ended up reaching to the roof and sliding down the drain pipe to escape the paparazzi. :)
