I had some issues with the lens protector causing some odd streaking, but I liked this shot enough to post it anyways. I could retake the shot with it cleaned, but the resting moms was a moment in time.

The music, brilliant colours and magnificent horses from 1906 make the Roseneath Carousel a destination for the entire family. The C. W. Parker Carousel has 40 basswood horses and two boats. Visitors are taken back to yesteryear as the 1934 Wurlitzer Military Band Organ plays on. This antique heritage attraction is a welcome stop in Northumberland County. -

My lovely wife said that it was the fastest carousel she had ever been on. That was all I could think about as I prepared this image. We visited during Doors Open Ontario. The people were wonderful, spinning the carousel as much as I needed to get the shots I wanted.

I'm having issues with the 50mm lens..or maybe it's me, but I'm struggling with the focus..a lot of the images are not as sharp as they were with the 24 to 55mm lens that came with the camera..maybe it's the wrong lens for just snapping when out and about..anyone got any tips ?

This is sooc and the best of the few I took of this horse, but I still don't think it's that clear

Tres fotografías del tiovivo instalado en el Paseo de la Farola de Málaga. Este carrusel tiene un atractivo especial, su ubicación en un lugar bien visible y diría que privilegiado atrae la mirada de los transeúntes. Por la mañana temprano permanece cerrado y aún así es interesante echarle un vistazo.

Dos de las 3 fotos de esta serie están disparadas con un teléfono móvil y he de confesar que nunca hubiera imaginado que un dispositivo (que en versiones anteriores me había defraudado siempre en las tomas nocturnas), consiguiera una calidad aceptable en tan pobres condiciones de iluminación.

Quite pleased because it's the only photo I took of the Carousel in colour. I took another two in Black and White on Kodak Tri-X because, who doesn't appreciate the beauty of the craftmanship in the old Carousel horses ride. All lit up at night :)
