Flushing Meadows Carousel - Fantasy Forest Amusement Park
Master planning for Centre Island Park began in 1956, leading to the creation of several notable landmarks. Among them was the hexagon-shaped Iroquois Restaurant, designed by Hancock, Little, Calvert Associates. Perched on the bank of a lagoon, the building was distinguished by its folded copper roof and massive timber beams. Originally opened as the Iroquois, it is now known as the Carousel Café.

The best part of a roller-coaster ride is when you're going up and you're slightly scared and really excited and you don't know what's coming next! If you can't handle it, go on the carousel.
This carousel is in my home town and was built in 1923.
The days become shorter, and I continue with my night walks in our neighborhood in my hometown Potsdam. In Potsdam the preparations for this year's Christmas market have begun.
