We're all about being serious for a studio session. Or not! LOL!

For them that does, remember to set those clocks back an hour tonight! For them that doesn't...... as you were. via 500px ift.tt/2hcq9yj

Oh it's coming all right. La Nina is not going to be nice to us at all. via 500px ift.tt/2hbB0Vw

Something so very unique and special with this structure. The Alexian Brothers Novitiate is incredibly amazing! I wasn't able to get all of the shots that I was wanting! This place is jam packed with amazing photo opportunities!!! I have a Lume Cube camera left with a light house, diffuser and gel on it to give it a more natural color at night. I triggered it from my phone with Foolography's Unleashed. I can't wait to go back and get a few more angles that I didn't have time to get here! If you do happen to come to the area please contact the proper people to go shoot here! It helps keep these places here for us all to enjoy! It's not much and it's really an incredible place to shoot!

I do love when the clouds do things like this. Even though it's only briefly and I know full well that there's snow up there somewhere. Hiding. Waiting. via 500px ift.tt/2yHYnkU

This was my last ditch attempt at getting a time lapse before the rain got to me. With my camera sitting on my Revolve slider, Lume Cubes behind us lighting up the cone flowers and foreground and the storm rolling in I figured I was bound to get something. I shot for quite a while on this hill side without having much luck but finally was able to pull one off. There will be a time lapse to come...but it was really short. I only had about 15 minutes and it started down pouring from this shot. It was a great time and can't wait for this coming week....

"Hold your breath and count to ten Feel the earth move and then Hear my heart burst again" And only a month and a half after the end of the year, I finish my 365 project for 2017. Yeah, I think 2018 is a rest for that exercise. via 500px ift.tt/2swP98v

My visit to the Alexian Brothers Novitiate went a little something like this. I must say it's an absolutely incredible place to be and shoot! There's a little bit more light pollution than I was expecting but it's not too bad though I was still able to get the milky way obviously! I wish I could see some pictures from when it was built back in 1939! I'm sure it was absolutely stunning! I was using a Lume Cube camera left and camera right to light this scene. Both had gels and a diffuser.

If you are interested in shooting here please contact the appropriate people! They are extremely easy to work with and it's helps keep this place here to be able to shoot!!

When is it a good time to share a Stephanie image? That's right. Any time at all.

With Sivani commenting the last few days about her adventures as a photographer, I thought it was time to revisit her being on the other side of the lens back in 2015. Still more treasures from that session. One speedlight. One terrific model. via 500px ift.tt/2BDNxdo

I shot this testing out an Irix 15mm Firefly. I setup a Lume Cube on the right side of the ruins to help illuminate them. Then setup my camera to shoot this. It's just over an hours time at just under 350 images taken. It was a whopping 5 degrees F outside so at least it wasn't cold....LOL

With Kayleigh, of course. via 500px ift.tt/2FFmwbu

A terrific session with the spectacular Kayleigh tonight, so I just had to get ONE processed and out. For the camera folk, f/1.8, 50mm, ISO 640, using just the modelling lamps for light. Toning in Exposure 3. For everyone else, just know that Kayleigh ROCKS!! via 500px ift.tt/2EY7L38
