Pretty sure that King Arthur's gang had that same haircut. When there's nothing to run out and photograph, the old coot is always around to test a light or two. via 500px ift.tt/2irQ2aE
Coming out of the mist, out of the light.... Sivani, in a previously unedited, unreleased image. via 500px ift.tt/2DuIDTN
This was my last ditch attempt at getting a time lapse before the rain got to me. With my camera sitting on my Revolve slider, Lume Cubes behind us lighting up the cone flowers and foreground and the storm rolling in I figured I was bound to get something. I shot for quite a while on this hill side without having much luck but finally was able to pull one off. There will be a time lapse to come...but it was really short. I only had about 15 minutes and it started down pouring from this shot. It was a great time and can't wait for this coming week....

As The Great Scavenger Meetup Pt 2 approaches, I thought it would be cool to show (or remind) you that our fellow Scavengers are fabulous and beautiful subjects for portraits, just in case you didn't know!! Today: Sivani Boxall! via 500px ift.tt/2yu9qgT
My visit to the Alexian Brothers Novitiate went a little something like this. I must say it's an absolutely incredible place to be and shoot! There's a little bit more light pollution than I was expecting but it's not too bad though I was still able to get the milky way obviously! I wish I could see some pictures from when it was built back in 1939! I'm sure it was absolutely stunning! I was using a Lume Cube camera left and camera right to light this scene. Both had gels and a diffuser.
If you are interested in shooting here please contact the appropriate people! They are extremely easy to work with and it's helps keep this place here to be able to shoot!!

I shot this testing out an Irix 15mm Firefly. I setup a Lume Cube on the right side of the ruins to help illuminate them. Then setup my camera to shoot this. It's just over an hours time at just under 350 images taken. It was a whopping 5 degrees F outside so at least it wasn't cold....LOL

A terrific session with the spectacular Kayleigh tonight, so I just had to get ONE processed and out. For the camera folk, f/1.8, 50mm, ISO 640, using just the modelling lamps for light. Toning in Exposure 3. For everyone else, just know that Kayleigh ROCKS!! via 500px ift.tt/2EY7L38
Moon over my backyard. I didn't know my patio umbrella threw that much of a shadow! via 500px ift.tt/2BWJJmw
With Sivani commenting the last few days about her adventures as a photographer, I thought it was time to revisit her being on the other side of the lens back in 2015. Still more treasures from that session. One speedlight. One terrific model. via 500px ift.tt/2BDNxdo

She was so angelic just the day before. And a most cooperative deputy marshall helping us create a little scenario that had Liz's Mom asking her, "is everything ok there?". LOL!! via 500px ift.tt/2z3FwNT
